Umbut Langkawi — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

This restaurant is on a hill with amazing Panoramic views though it’s easy to find sea side restaurants and this one is surely a better place to have a meal with a view in Langkawi.

We ate samble shrimp pasta that was asked to cook medium spicy. I loved the taste of it but I wished they had taken out the shrimp shells so it was easy to cut and eat. It affected me more because I was very hungry and wanted to supply the food to my stomach quickly. Also next time I won’t wear light dresses to eat samble pasta as the spaghetti kept sprinkling the red samble on my face and dress.

Aglio olio pasta with crispy chicken was also very delicious. I finished the mushrooms from my husband's plate as it tasted very refreshing and different from my dish. Next I ordered a crispy chicken salad; I saw my son eating salad with that much love for the first time. I had never ordered salad for him until now. He loved it, I loved it and now I know I can order this dish for him next also.

The dishes are moderately priced. Healthy options are available. The menu includes a variety of Burgers made with different ingredients, at least 5-6 options of pasta and sandwiches, French fries and a vast variety of non-alcoholic drinks. The place is good for a romantic dinner or late lunch. And it’s good for families with young kids. You can leave them to play at the mini-play area set...

Went here on 10/2/23 with my husband and younger brother for dinner. This hidden gem is nestled on the hills overlooking the sea, giving awesome romantic vibes especially during sunset. 🥰🌅

Food is delicious. Drinks are great. The pricings are affordable and reasonable according to the great quality ingredients used. The portion size of the dishes are satisfactory. Their dishes ranging from light bites, Western food, pastas, seafood, sandwiches, signature burgers and Asian dishes. As for drinks, they offer signature coffee, tea, chocolate drinks, milkshakes and smoothies. We totally enjoyed our scrumptious meals and wonderful drinks 😘👍 My husband totally LOVE their Affogato.😍👍 I LOVE their Fish and Chips 😍👍 My younger brother really LOVE their Alfredo pasta. Everything is superb 😍👍

This spot, though a bit hidden, is well worth seeking out! The atmosphere and ambiance are truly excellent, providing a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The food was just nice. We particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup with garlic baguette and the creamy alfredo pasta with streaky beef. The chicken salted egg pasta and chicken chop were also solid choices, and the fries were a good accompaniment.
