This is my definition of Middle Eastern cuisine. Don't go here if you are on diet. I go on the weekday, they parking have ample of parking here, but honestly I didn't know how it was on the weekend. The ambience is quite ok, some may love it, some may argue but overall cleanliness is good. This restaurant really have good food smell (if u know wat I mean). Actually I forgot some of the food name as I wrote this weeks after the visit. First of all, I would say I have no expectation on this place as I go here because my love would like to eat some healthy food (middle eastern is mediteranean which is good for u). My friend strongly suggest to go here and here we go. Although baklava is only a bite size, it really explode with the sweetness for me. Those who have sweet teeth should really get this (strongly didn't recommend for diabetic person). Our appetizer is some grape leaves stuffed with rice (it is like some delicious kueh) with what seems like vinaigrette. For main we have medium size chicken mandy (which enough for 4 normal plate) and lamb madghout (to try). My first impression on lamb madghout (I never had this b4) is it is kind of healthier option of nasi beriyani. Maybe better if I choose chicken but I will never regret having the lamb. It is really delicious. What I love the most is they serve chicken and lamb that perfectly cook. Very tender but not overcook. For those who have dentures, would most likely never have a problem eating here. It is not a concern if u dine in here. Overall experience is completed with arabic tea with mint which I regret having only a cup, should ask for a pot. Coffee lover would also love the coffee here, it is very strong. There is some more list but this is long enough. There is much more to try, will definitely come here again. Recommend to come here for celebration as the price is quite pricey (normal for nasi...
Read moreFood: This is what makes me rate 1. The food in the menu and the food prepared is not the same at all. eg. fahsa chicken, u expect the 3 buns but u get only the muallawah. kebab hallabe, u see the big mullawah but u only get 1 small piece(shape of pizza).Humus, they mentioned comea with mullawah, but only small piece (shape of pizza) on top. The sad part arayes chicken ordered has no chicken in it! i didnt check as they already packed for takeaway. Once i got home, the bread was burnt and no chicken at all inside. Arayes lamb, only few slices lamb inside. Service: The lady and all staff are incompetent in taking orders and serving food. Some pre-order missed, resulted in delay or no food provided at all. you nees to chase them few times to get your food. prob. if you only expected, chicken mandy, then thats the only food served as advertised. Price: Irrelevant as compare to the size or the food and services mentioned. Place decoration : tip top but, it is very hot inside as the air-cond only focus at the centre. Cleanliness: 3. why? cause there are tables near the toilet and the toilet is just separated by a wall from the table. you can get the smell while eating. ewww. Summary: I dont encourage people to come and eat at this arabic restaurant. You can get much better at...
Read moreThe food is really delicious, love the mixed kebab and the lamb Maghout Rice. Kebab is f Highly recommended as the meat smells amazing and the taste is heavenly. Full 1 star for Food.
Portion is big and price is a little pricey but within affordable range. You have to expect a certain price range for Middle Eastern cuisine. 1 star for price to portion.
Cleanliness is top for me, the place is generally clean and doesn't have any smell (other than the food that is served). Tables are well arranged and clean. That is another star for grabs
General Ambience is not to my taste so I won't comment much. 0.3 stars on my scale.
Service was quite okay. It's quite difficult to get a hold of the staff as staff is buzzing around. However kudos to the staff on the recommendations and also help us to ensure we didn't over order. 0.7 stars on the scale.
That adds up to 4 stars all in total. Hope this helps on what to expect. Don't forget to check out the pics...
