Service is just so so bad that I don’t even think they deserved any star. Went several time and it’s always disappointing. I swear this will be the last time I’m there and WILL never recommend anyone there. Their food and service used to be very good and humble back then at old stall. However ever since moved to this new one it just so sucks. Every time I asked for dabao. They just tell me roti finish (while there’s just so many dough sitting there). So I do notice they have this policy no dabao is allowed and yet they refused to put this up in the shop. Every staff just tell different stories on the availability of foods. If you get a good service count urself lucky. Today we arrived together with another customer, told us roti finish @ 9am+. Okay so we have no choice and ordered lontong. Bump into one of our friends came later at 10+, tell him roti finish but when he’s seated the staff said roti still available. Dafuq. Our food came shortly after that I asked another staff, she claimed roti still have but waiting time is long cause that fella is new. 10mins after we’ve done with our meal, our friends roti is served. Seriously is that how you gonna do business?! So so...
Read moreThis popular roti paratha/canai eatery was originally from an adjacent site up on the hill before 2020. Try and avoid coming here during peak weekends or during long national holidays unless you can be here very early. Place opens after seven and there's already a queue. The friendly owner mentioned that weekdays from working Mondays till Thursdays are the best days to come by for a relaxed and unhurried breakfast/brunch experience.
That mentioned, the featured roti is as good as mentioned, fluffy and crispy with a warm and chewy inside. Taken with the fabulous savoury fish curry and sweet spicy sambal side and it's a heaven made match to die for. Pair It with the teh tarik which is spot on perfect. It is that good and makes sense why the queue here starts off so early on especially during long weekends. Service is fast and staff are all friendly. A truly Malaysian breakfast experience you have to come to experience for yourself! Highly...
Read moreThis is a Kampung roti canai shop. Just imagine your typical rickety wooden kampung shack roti canai shop that serves great food with the usual yelling if orders and humorous unautomated disorganised business processes that you love about eating in your local kampung. ONLY, this shack is now in a corner shoplot. Probably the best Roti Canai in Malacca imo. Tmjust the right amount of char on the outside and moist centre. And I absolutely love their Mee Rebus. Best of all, its run by a 50:50 ratio of Makciks and Pakciks. Listen out of quaint orders like Roti Kahwin aneh, Roti Jantan, and there's probably a Roti Mandul there too. Love the place! Oh... but their opening days are very random... as expected from a...
