Bros Cafe — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

My 1st time visit here. And it is also because my friend came here before, so recommended this place after our lunch.

Ordered 5 drinks and 2 sea salt scones. Overall the drinks were ok. But, I just want to talk about what kind of sea salt scone is this? 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Only few sprinkle sea salt of scone on top and is so called sea salt scone? Or it is chocolate chip sea salt scone? I could see the main ingredient is chocolate chips. But it was using a cheap quality of chocolate chip. I asked the staff if got mint ingredient inside, but she said NO. Well, something greenish blueish thingy inside the scone, and cause the scone color weird, and taste different too.

It was a lil disappointed which the scones did not serve it hot or at least warm up, have to ask the staff to do so. The scone was serve with berry jam, berry jam kinda ok. But, unbelievable which you serve the scone with marjerine/soft margerine 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮. It is really spoilt the whole taste.

If you take from supplier, you may consider change the supplier. If bake by yourself, I would recommend you to learn from the basic scone recipe. If scone is really perfectly bake, it does not need to add on any other flavor. A plain and basic scone can be so perfectly taste with a simple BUTTER and jam, fresh cream/clotted cream is an extra bonus to it.

Came here for lunch, and the notice board in front has an apology note informing us that there are only 2 staff in the cafe, so customers are expected to wait.

Ordered a few things:- jumbo chicken cutlet & rice, bibimbap, scone and cold latte.

Opinion: Jumbo chicken cutlet & rice is seriously big, price too. I believe this could be looked into by providing a smaller portion with adjusted price as the chicken is just too big and the sauce doesn't help much in improving the urge to finish everything. Bibimbap tastes great, nice presentation with lots of different vegetables to mix with the rice. Cold latte (smooth and creamy) is worth trying as it comes with cold milk, so no ice needed. However, worth it for the price? Hmmm... Scone, just fresh from oven. Overall mix well with the butter and jam, maybe texture a bit hard.

There is WiFi and power plug at the tables along the wall, perhaps a strategy to attract customers? However, if they look into the menu, I bet some other things can be adjusted so that their weekends can be filled with people instead of just...

The place is filled with people which creates the environment to be more lively. The interior design of the cafe looks vintage, simple and it fits the mood well.

The music 🎶 selection for the cafe was entertaining.

The customer service wise the staff here are friendly and have positive interactions. This is what I always look into whenever I walk into the cafe.

The Lasagna I ordered from this cafe was superb! The minced chicken with the carrots matches well and makes you crave for more than a single bite 😙

The drink i have ordered is 🥤 super berries juice. When you think of berries its a small, pulpy, and often edible fruit. As for the juice you literally can taste the sourness of the berries and its thirst-quenching. In other words its yummy. The cafe offer the metal straw for my drink which was very thoughtful of them (i.e. to save the environment).

If you would like to experience the food and the ambience of this cafe, i would highly recommended it.

Hopefully next time I shall try their salad, been tempting...
