Went in today to have breakfast but it was already close to 11 am. We had mee hoon, poori, parantha banjir and rawa tosai masala. All were good. First serving of mee hoon was cold. But the taste was good. So we ordered a second serving and told them to heat it up. The waiters and waitresses were very obliging and had a smile all the time. Even though it was close to lunch time, they tried their best to give us the breakfast items. While I do not deny that their service was a bit slow but I can understand because it was close to lunch time and their chefs may have been busy preparing the lunch items. The brew coffee, masala tea and mint lassi is also highly recommended. I will also recommend their soft and fluffy poori. Since the ambience was good we lingered around till 12 pm and got a taste of their chicken beriani too. A generous portion of rice and a big piece of chicken is value for money. Our overall experience was good hence the five stars...
Read moreDined for lunch today at The Mahabelly, Heard rumours that their mutton was RM 21 perbowl and I went there to check it by myself.
To my surprise the service was fantastic with friendly staffs and waiters welcoming with a cozy and relaxed ambience. There are spread of non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes to pick and choose for lunch.
Had their signature mutton dish. Was fantastic and reasonably priced, to my surprise it was only RM 11 per bowl without bones and fat.
But unfortunately the rumours were untrue that the mutton was RM 21 per bowl , maybe the mutton served would have been 2 bowls instead of 1.
Mutton was tender and tasty. Thumbs up to the Mahabelly team for serving quality dish with a fantastic atmosphere. I would never regret and resist to visit again.
Fully recommended for lunch.
Keep u the great work...
Read morePleasant experience having lunch here during my husband's treat for my birthday which happened to coincide with the third day of Chinese New Year this year. First time trying out the food here and we enjoyed it! We ordered South Indian Vegetarian Thali Set, Plain Paratha, Butter Naan, Palak Panner, Tea and Bru Coffee. Prices are slightly on the higher side but we absolutely loved the paratha and butter naan which had black sesame sprinkled over it! Not oily at all and the portion was enough to fill us. The palak paneer was so creamy, delicious, and filling! We had asked for child seat and they so obligingly arranged it and had it sanitized (we saw them sanitizing it) prior to putting it at our table! Good ambiance, the toilets were also clean, a good place for fine-dining Indian cuisine...
