Kim's Kopitiam — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

BAD thing about this place is that the staff here seemed like they don't know about their own menu.

If you look at the last page of the menu, there is a SURPRISE birthday promotion which requires you to be having your birthday on the month & spend at least rm66, AND give a 5star Google review + Like & Share on their FB page. The requirements are lengthy, but it was OK.

Then, I was curious to know what will be the surprise gift, so I asked the staff. The staff asked another staff, and another staff asked another.. It just seemed like nobody knows about this. So the staff just answered me that their surprise gift is nothing on the menu.

At the end of the day, we got a small bowl of tongshui (which is on the menu). Attached photo for your info. Well, we were speechless.. They even did a double & triple check on us to see whether is it someone's birthday, and even checked whether our reviews, like & share was done.. not once, but twice.

Personally felt that the service needed improvement. It felt like they are not prepared / not willing to give the "surprise gift" when we requested it. Maybe the boss needed to at least get all of your staff understand on all of your ongoing promotions before actually releasing it.

First time here as I am meeting some friends. Came first, so I ordered ice milk tea which was one of their signature drinks there. Milk tea was absolutely horrible. Tea is of lowest of low quality aka dust powder, the ones that you drink one sip and you feel nauseated and your appetite ruined. First time I'm unable to drink at least half of my milk tea in a kopitiam (others were in mamak stalls). I only took 3 sips of it. While the entire menu is filled with delicious choices, their Curry Chicken Noodle is an absolute standout and a must-try. The bowl arrives with a generous serving of perfectly cooked noodles swimming in a rich, fragrant curry broth that has just the right amount of spice.
