M & N Hotel — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

This was the first time in all my years that I've had such a bad hotel experience 😡 We booked two rooms online, one with a king bed and one with two beds. When we checked in at 3 pm, the waiter told us they didn't have any rooms with two beds. They then arbitrarily changed us to a different room type and told us to wait because it hadn't been cleaned yet (shouldn't hotels be ready for check-in by 3 pm?). After waiting for over half an hour, we tried to argue with the waiter, explaining that we'd already booked it online with Agoda and had receipts. But the waiter was rude and sullen, completely clueless, saying no, 'I don't know,' and 'it's impossible.' He then shirked responsibility, claiming it was Agoda's fault and wouldn't allow us to cancel the reservation. We had no choice but to accept the offer. What was even more outrageous after checking in was that every appliance had issues. First, the shower heater was running cold water. Then, the bedside lamp didn't work. The phone charger in my son's room wasn't working, and the body shampoo wasn't refilled. There was no hot water either. When we checked out, we told her there was no hot water, and she said, "That's just how it is. It's broken, so we can't have hot water." She was so rude, she refused to fix it. Happy with the room and facilities for a budget hotel. Ample free street parking. Only dislike is reception asked for IC and wanted to make a photocopy when check-in. She claimed police asked for it.
