Yi Poh 姨婆老鼠粉 | Kepayang | Seremban 2 — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

I really feel sorry for this restaurant chain. It has such a long history and reputation but the quality of the food has fallen to such a low level.

Dear Management,

I hope that you reading this review and do something to recover this Yi Poh brand name. The current state of the food is really horrible and if this continue I think you will continue to lose customers. I am compelled to write this honest review in the hope that management will read it and do something about it. I am really sad to see this long standing traditionally name Yi Poh fall into such disgraceful state.

For noodles, there was just too much low quality dark sauce. The noodles were drench in it and it was bitter. The noodle is the central of the dish and this is totally NOT acceptable that it is BITTER. Please do something about this.

The char siew presentation is top notch (looks really delicious) but once you bit into it then you realized that it is just all show and no substance. It is lacking in flavor.

All the different balls were just average and look like factory produced.

The workers were nonchalant about customers and not trained well. Not sure how the ordering should go. The ordering slip was confusing. For anniversary dish, there was an option of fried or soup wan ton and ended all with extra order of wanton. There is a choice of changing the char siew to the pork belly wanton but ended all with extra order of char siew. Looks like all will end up with...

Management do Ür border? Getting worst .,.. Food is good.. services is ok BUT— Ür staff is creating irritating sound by dragging their foot around the restaurant. Used to be one female staff, now seem more of them doing so.. To hear their foot dragging sound which I find they are creating unpleasant dining experience.. ( U do not need on the nice music anymore. ) for once I sound out, ask the female- why Ür don’t walk but dragging the foot n making out sound loud.( like roller skating in restaurant.) She did not stop after so., well it is habit that cannot change.!

Not sure anyone else experience n felt disturb by this. I have cut down coming over even the food is good.!

Management- hope this helps, may need train them walk in the restaurant. 🥶 Another suggestion jz get them a roller skate boots. 😨

The taste and quality definitely dropped. I have been eating since they opened in Temiang. Last time I used to recommend it to my friend in another city. But I think I need to change my mind now.

The signature noodle now has less flavour. They gave a lesser meat portion and yet the price increased by a lot. Even the pork intestine soup had less flavour. I think they should look into it.

A little bit disappointed. Last time, they used to serve in a very fast manner even though it was a full house. But now I waited for 40mins for a takeaway.

I think they turn into more commercial than controlling the quality of the food. And yet I still see quite a lot of people eating it. Not sure whether they accepted the lower quality...
