Update: As you readers can see the reply from the owner. Our perspective, they forgot our 3rd dish. Instead of apologizing, they went on a rant. You readers can decide. By the way, we waited because we were waiting for our Grab. We had completed out meal. This is how the owner is, they make assumption and instead of deescalating the situation, he chose to escalate. Go to Hao Kee Restaurant on the weekend. They were packed when we were there and got our food in 15 mins and none of this do not come again. If waiting for your food almost an hour while other tables that came after got their dishes as being unreasonable, then we are unreasonable. You readers can decide for yourself.
My daughter likes this place as they have pretty good chili crab and Lukut satay is close by. However, this last Saturday we arrived and the place was pretty packed. Sat down ordered our usual and nearby satay. Satay came and we almost finished, waited another 45 minutes or so. All tables before us received their dishes, we waited and 2 put 3 dishes came at the hour mark. We were hungry and almost finished the 2 dishes and by the time the chili crab came we were done and my dad told them to take back this dish. I do not have issue waiting but the problem that we have was the tables that came after us received most of not all their dishes while inquiring, we were told it is cooking. This was the reason why we sent back the last dish. Came time to pay, the wife called the husband to handle us, I believe he is the chef, he told us to not come there again. By rejecting the dish, they incurred a lost.
Well, we will not be going there anymore. Plenty of other places to eat and we do not tolerate this sort of attitude while the service was...

Visit Summary -
We decided to visit this restaurant as the usual one we go to was closed. I must say it was a good experience overall. Food was good, prices exceeded expectations. I was expecting a bomb in the bill, judging by the restaurant ambience and quantity of food. But it was a good surprise.

Things to note
Went there for lunch, the place is not crowded, there are a total of two tables including us. Ordered fried squid, oyster omelette, lala soup, and also braised pork tendon. Out of all these, the claypot oyster omelette is my favourite. The egg is cooked to perfection, silky smooth but with a slight crisp. Oysters are still juicy and nice. The saltiness and umami flavour is spot on. Braised pork tendon (猪脚筋) is also very nice. Flavourful and springy in consistency. I would say all the food is really good, and I waited only 10mins to get my food all served. (When I was there, the other table customer did raise his voice because apparently the fish he ordered hasn't arrived yet when they had already completed their meal). And based on a few other reviews waiting time is indeed a norm in this restaurant. Price is reasonable. Maybe if I happen to come at non peak hours, I might drop by again...
