Sen Kee Kitchen House Restaurant — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Came here for dinner, wanted to try this restaurant at least once since we saw it from across the Hakka & Nyonya restaurant.

Entered the restaurant, seated ourselves yet the staff first served another table that came in later. This really needs to be improved.

As for the food, I think the steamed tilapia fish with ginger and rice wine is somewhat pricey - RM 67 for roughly 750 g. Taste wise, I'd say it's pretty good as we cleared everything on the plate, but it left me with a slightly thirsty throat. Signs of using a considerable amount of seasonings I guess.

All in all, worth coming back to try other dishes. May need to fix some ventilation issue as your shirt will absorb a lot of "cooking smell"...

From entering the door to sitting down, no one pass me a menu or come to serve us. Even the customers who are late than us have already order their foods still no one come to serve us, so there is no chance to order. Until we walked out of the restaurant, one of the staffs suddenly opened the golden mouth and kindly asked the number of guests who had just entered the door of the restaurant. 1st time here. The Heong Pin tea not so flavoured. The stir-fry okra and water spinach were flavoured with dry shrimps. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The one that I loved most is the deep fried chicken ding with Thai sauce. The chicken ding were crispy. The sauce was not balance between sweet, spicy and sourness. Can try other traditional...
