Went in to buy siew pau. A server was serving a customer. There was no other customer there. I told the server I wanted siew pau and she said wait. So I waited for her to finish with the 1st customer. 2 women came in and called out her order of 2 siew pau and 2 salted egg pastry. When the server has finished with the 1st customer, I was already standing nearby waiting, so I told her I wanted 10 siew pau. The server told me that 2 women ordered first and started serving those 2 women who came after me. Ok fine I kept quiet since I though only a small quick order. But for the salted egg pastry, she has to go to next door to get it. I waited. Then when the server was walking out, she asked the 2 women, any more orders. They said yes. Read moreImpressive, pretty good for a bakery.
First off, the pastries that are sold are actually pretty good. They sell mainly chinese/hokkien pastries which include, Pineapple Tarts, Egg Tarts and many more. The variants are many as the quality is decently good. Fun fact, they sell ice cream too, chocolate and vanilla which may interest you or your family!
Next up, the service. The employees seemed to actually be apart of the family which founded the bakery. They were very nice and polite, offering us samples to try too!
Last one, atmosphere. The atmosphere is pretty decent, the walls are painted with some portraits of the other branches of the bakery. However, one draw back is a lot of flies are able to be seen around the containers which contain the pastries. However, they don't get into the...
Read moreA less well known Seremban Siew Pau shop. First time visiting. Was pleasantly surprised. Food: They have freshly baked Seremban Siew Pau, Portuguese style egg tarts and more. The Siew Pau has a delicious sweet taste to it, very much to my liking. And the egg tart is the hidden gem. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very silky and very buttery pastry. Ambience/Location: It's a small shop, only for take away. Service: They provide paper boxes for packing the pastries. Staff was helpful and was patient. Price: Worth the price for the deliciousness and quality. Recommendation: Definitely buy the siew pau and the egg tart When to visit: Earlier part of the...
