I don’t normally write follow-up reviews, but after seeing the way my wife’s experience was inaccurately addressed, I felt the need to clarify.

First, during my visit, the service was disappointing. When I asked a simple question about seating, the waiter barely acknowledged me with a reluctant nod, as if I was bothering her. In F&B, basic courtesy and customer service should be a given, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

Secondly, I was appalled by the café’s defensive and misleading response to my wife’s review. We waited over 30 minutes for two drinks that were never even prepared because the order hadn’t been processed. When my wife approached the cashier, she was told the order didn’t go through, so of course we canceled them. If the drinks had been prepared, we would have taken them instead of canceling. Their reply on her review implied otherwise, which is completely untrue.

Food and ambience are important, but when service and customer relations are handled so poorly, it leaves a lasting bad impression. I hope the management starts taking customer feedback seriously and stops deflecting valid complaints.
