Just like KL/PJ, I'd hunt for nice cafe while in Kuantan it time permits. While not many options compared to the metropolitan city, there are a few cafes that worth mentioning in this capital of Pahang.

about : Espresso & Brew Bar is one of the earliest cafes that has established themselves firmly in the cafe scene in Kuantan - that is, if my memory serves me correctly. Not much has been done to change the interior - the original cement flooring plus the old school tiles at the back can still be seen. Added some wooden tables and steel chairs and they are good to go.
