It is an old style building which is very interesting, but sadly, poorly maintained. People don't mind the vintage building, old reusable furniture, old pillows, less springy old mattresses, not quite functioning lightnings, rusty toilets with not enough proper equipment but so many broken one & many other downside that most people, normally, can just ignore it & enjoy the scenery & the delicious food served. The food are tasty but just a little too pricey & the kitchen staff seem oblivious with proper hygiene in food handling. Hopefully that is not the case in the cooking process at the back. Cleanliness is the major issue here. It takes so little effort & just a small fraction of money to maintain the basic level of cleanliness, keeping it neat & tidy to the standard of a normal human being expectation. Ended up buying a bunch of bleach liquid & powdered detergent & clean things up in the middle of the night to get rid of the unbearable dirt & stain with live worms, stinky filthy stain on the rubber hose & all over the surface. Thought of using the toilet brush but it is worn out, forgot to buy a new one. Surely the room price is good but that doesn't mean the management can ignore the basic need of human hygiene. The professionalism of the staff here are very frustrating. Arrived & greeted with 'ignored' selamat datang & have to say the 'salam' few times to get their reply. The way they handle arrived guests can be 'cold' but heart boiling, really not cool & far from heartwarming. Planning of coming here again to give more support, enjoy their scrumptious meal, green scenery beside the river & cheap spacious rooms. Hopefully things will...

Came with my mom and sister, and had a very good customer experience especially when the owner took the orders, cleaning up table and performed billing. Noticed new and nice dining setup each for steamboat and regular meals. The rooms are also newly renovated and ready for operational post MCO. Will spend a visit again sometime soon to meet the owner. Hogoh...
