Decoration: nice modern style. If you're looking for aesthetically pleasing cafe in Temerloh (mind you pretty cafes here very limited) this cafe will give u the instagram worthy feel. However most of the seats are those tall stools which probably will not give u much comfort. There's probably about 4-5 normal height tables which what we preferred and went for anyway.
Food: first of all there's not a lot of mains in their menu. 2 brunch food. Less than 10 pastas. 2 burgers. Very limited options i would say and boring too. 2ndly, i heard that the chef was a culinary graduate so yeah my expectation was really high. So here's my experience there. We need to order at the counter and made payment first. Waiting time was actually long about 15-20mins considering there were not many customers that time. We ordered the cajun chicken pasta and alfredo. 1st impression was how little the portion was. And to be frank i was disappointed with the whole look of the dishes. The pastas were soupy. Since i was expecting a chef level pasta, this definitely threw me off. Like honestly if the chef really took culinary I'm curious what he/she learnt in culinary school. Both pastas were fettuccine. Nicely cooked al dente. In term of taste the alfredo is not alfredo instead it's basically creamy fettucine. We couldn't taste the cheese at all. It was all cream and dried herbs. Grilled chicken was so dry and a bit salty. The cajun chicken pasta was also not it. It was heavy on capcicum and cream with tiny bit of herbs and cajun spice which we can barely taste. Both pastas were so salty. Overall the pastas were disappointing. I wonder what gave the chef confidence to serve these to people. If you want to sell italian food at least make it right. There are ways to make italian food fit to tekak melayu like creating asian fusion dishes (rendang or masak lemak or buttermilk or kamheong pastas etc) but if you're attempting italian food make it right. U can add some cream but never neglect the cheese.
I havent tried the desserts or beverages but honestly i dont think I'll come again in the nearest future until...
Read moreFirst, their foods!! I ordered honey soy garlic chicken wings, terrible, they literally just use plain soy sauce that we put on our rice, no honey taste or even garlic to it, just some kicap!!! So disappointed because the price was 16+ a plate, the portion is quite reasonable for the price i paid and it was hot from the kitchen, but the taste was so disappointing :/, and then the pasta, their signature tomato penne pasta i think???? Was not good, maybe for kids it would suit their taste buds, but it was so muak for us, no spice to it at all and took us sometime to finish ://, the drinks, the strawberry drink was delicious but the coffee???? I was irked! The price point for their coffees was more expensive than zus but they serve us mamak level kopi, can taste the residue like they used bag coffees, no hate to mamak coffee, it's my favourite, but then don't priced it like it is artisan coffee, paid 9 myr for Americano that tasted like 2 ringgit ones from mamak, what a waste!! The decorations was nice and the ambience was warm and pretty but they had some messy tables at the back, not a good look for such a nice restaurant, visually. Will not come back to dine, until they upgraded...
Read moreFor me, it’s pricey for the drinks. Iced chocolate cost me almost RM11, the cup is small, not worth it. The foods for me, the price is quite okay. But for some people it’s a bit pricey. And the iced choc just using the choc syrup and fresh milk thats all, no blend no cream just that. For the food, im sorry to say but it’s salty, i ordered the fettuccine cream (i donno the name) with chicken breast. For the plain water, for the first time in my life i saw the price, RM1.50. Well black canyon pun charge rm0.85 only, maybe that’s mineral water kut i donno so thats why it’s cost a lot. Well, istg i never thought that the iced chocolate is just like that. I think at least put some tea, teh o ais yang cost only RM3 ke RM4 ke, so that there’s a choice for the iced water that cost below RM5. When i looked through the menu, all the iced drinks cost...
