Went there on a sunday afternoon about 1pm for lunch but i was disappointed. Coffee was great though.
There were many big families with kids there for lunch and many are not following sop(not wearing facemask or wearing facemask properly), people are smoking at entrance. All these are not the cafe's fault but the mentality of those who visited the place.
Good thing: their coffee. Don't expect coffee art because there was none. The flavour was great, i saw somewhere that they roast their own beans, so i guess thats the selling point.
What this place disappoints me was their menu.
When it was finally our turn to get a table and order at counter, the only main course left was yellow mee. Waited for 40mins with grumbling tummy, i am sad to see that there is only mee kuning. The desserts were also mostly sold out with no replenishment. In the end i ordered the last slice of classic cheesecake and last 2nd slice of orange poppyseed cake.
Both cakes were way too sweet for my liking and there were grainy sugar in EVERY bite for both cakes. No wonder 1 out of 4 Malaysian are diabetic. I am sorry but i have to say that the cakes were bad. I could not finish the cakes even though i am so hungry.
2nd floor was not opened when i went, you can go up to take photos i guess cause i see some going up then come down shortly afterwards. No waiter serve food or drinks up stairs so i assumed it is closed.
Ambience? just mediocre.
Would have rated 1 or 2 stars if it is not...
Read moreLocated around 1 hour or so from KL. We drove just to come here and have a drink.
Ya'll need to be alert for the entrance because this place is located after a corner, you might miss it tho.
When you arrived at this place, you will feel in awe because you'll be amazed with all the word work this place has to offer. Everything they build it from every shape of woods they have, from the table to the chairs the cafe it self. Very rustic vibe. Very Instagramable.
The food was, well, kind a overpriced a bit. I can understand why their coffee is pricey because they claimed they plant, roast and made it locally (themself) but the food, is tad expensive. I ordered, 3 coffee, 1 juice, 2 munch food (fries and kopok lekor) and 1 entree cost me bout RM 80. Oke kot la ek. Oke la.
The embiance to this place is EVERYTHING! so nice and calm. only that jungle natural sound. trees everywhere. you can even see their coffee plant around the cafe. a very good experience for me.
despite everything is made of wood, their bathroom is not and it is so clean! kudos for that. sorry i didn't take picture of the menu cuz im too busy enjoying the surrounding.
all in all its a great experince. ya'll...
Read moreIt's overated. Not worth at all. We waited for a long que just to realise that they have only 2 dish in the menu. They don't even care to inform us earlier while waiting. The food was SUPER LOUSY and SUPER EXPENSIVE. I'm a foodie pls believe me n thank me later. The lamb shoulder was raw, small portion and wth no vegies but charge us rm32 like a professional restaurant ☹🙄🙄🙄.... the pasta was very plain n wth very flat taste🥺😥☹. We were total 9 of us and sadly none of us could give a good review abt this overated restaurant. It's Just tat the ambience is nice. Another guy who step out frm the restaurant try to hint us that it's not worth at all but we didn't really listen to him but later regretted that we should have and save our money. They should really improve in staff management and also food varieties and most importantly the taste of the food. People comes very far all the way here just to get disappointed. I have to apologise my family for suggesting them this restaurant. We were so so disappointed. Later I realised all who waited the que was just 1st time customers so I'm sure there won't be a come back after their first experience....
