We arrived at about 7.15pm. Only few tables were occupied. But by the time we were finished eating, the restaurant was 90% occupied. Seemed to be a popular family spot for dinner here in Kuantan.
The food was good but a bit different cooking style than the one in KL. Taste wise really different.
Petola with eggs dish is not that common in KL. Especially in Chinese restaurants.
The sitiawan steamed fish with lots of red onions was also different. This dish is rm44, fish is fresh, small portions, but probably the key thing is the way it was prepared. So can’t quite figure out if we liked it or not. It is their signature dish. We felt it had too much of raw onions on top.
The salted egg squid was standard. Portions is small, but just nice for 2 pax.
One thing, they’re very generous with minced raw garlic and sliced chili 🌶️ padi.
Total we have paid was RM 88 for 2 pax...

The prices also caught us off guard that it cost us almost RM500 and we were not even 60% full. Definitely a tourist trap since not all Chinese restaurants open on...
