Restoran Taj Maju HQ (Belakang Aurelius Hospital Pahang) — Restaurant in Pahang

Used to come here and had their briyani. Today, wednesday 27th july 2022, just had a lunch dueing the massive blackout. Their POS broke and everything is calculated roughly. Nornally we only paid RM50+ ish but today, suddenly its rm70+! Try to argue with the cashier. Everything is overcharged. They declared we ordered extra rice and is given but the quantity is the same if we ordered a single plate. And for the so called "extra" RM4.60 is charged per plate. CRAZY! This is going to be my last time coming here. Tried to negotiate and the workers started to gather around the cashier. Friendly? Most probably before but not now.

Only will come here if there's no more other eateries. With mamak vibe charging this price is not acceptable. I dont even know how you calculate it. Did asked for the price list and yup. I have been patronising this restaurant on my own & family since settling down in Kuantan City in March 2022. The roti canai with fish curry is delicious, the same for its nasi briyani with a variety of fried chicken or lamb (this dish is famous in Kuantan City). Legendary nasi beryani for lunch or dinner or roti canai with tenggiri fish curry for breakfast. Their delicious nasi beryani is very well known amongst kuantan people.
