The foods we ordered were very bad, rendang lamb from nasi lemak is super sweet, salad very bad taste, pizza crust was so thick which I chose to have the toppings only, so good to have my hubby finished the crust without toppings 🥺 The lime juice supposed to be sour but it’s sweet 😑 We ordered a lamb chop too but the waiter omitted to key in our order. This restaurant is open to everyone, not just guests from the resort. I paid the 1 RM to cross the river and enjoy nice ambiance without paying resort prices for accommodations.

Onto the food, I tried the samosas, the mee mamak noodles, and the chicken sandwich with fries. Every item I ordered was delicious. The portions were generous. If you don’t want to pay so much for food, there are other restaurants across the river, but I enjoyed both meals I had here.

I ended up eating at Seri Mutiara Restaurant because it was the only place around that let me pay with a card. Usually, I'd give an okayish place like this 3 stars – the food was alright and the service wasn't bad. But man, did it go downhill from there. I got hit with the worst food poisoning ever, spending 6-8 hours throwing up and dealing with diarrhea. It totally wrecked my time in Taman Negara. My advice? Stay away from this place and the hotel that's connected to it. It's just not worth the risk....
