Another seafood based restaurant along the coast.
Place is much more spacious and definitely better located with consistent sea breeze. Keeps the mosquitos away as well as the files. Place is just enormous. Keeping it simple and clean, without the unnecessary decorations. Certain corners of the place is somewhat dark and badly lit.
As the night progresses, the patrons pack the place in flocks. Even on a normal weekday, most tables are occupied. Each table teeming with hungry patrons enjoying seafood with their choice of beer.
Seafood wise is definitely fresh and offering a huge variety of cooking styles as well as portions. Without hurting the bank too much, it is decently priced. Their stir fried noodles is a must as it packs so much flavour in a dish, might even skip the rice. While serving up the food is rather slow and inconsistent, with intermittent breaks in between each dish. The kitchen seems to have problems keeping up with the order. One of the waiter even mistakenly sent a dish to the neighbouring table.
At least there credit card payment option around. Waiters were very patient with our requests and are seemingly overworked, running around like headless chickens. Usually at 10 pm, the waiters would come on over and ask if there any final orders as they are closing up the kitchen.
Overall, a great place to rewind, have some good seafood and enjoy a breeze. Would...

The Mantis prawn is a big yum yum, juicy succulent meat with that delicious 椒盐口味, it’s irresistible! The Big head prawns were delicious as well, the garlic soy sauce is so addicting! Crab was delicious and super huge! The meat was very thick! One crab around 600g sufficient for three people to eat! The salted egg is so flavourful, addicting….!
Lala pls don’t need to order, maybe it’s the season, the lala was very small, but flavour wise good. But not worth it. Overall all very delicious! Seafood is a bit pricey, but the food is good! Flavour not overly salty!

Read moreIf you are looking for seafood with a great seaview, open air and windy air, then this is the place. I must warn you that the price is above average. It's not expensive but they do charge a bit more than you would typically expect
But is it worth it? I would say that the food is generally good but mine had some hits and misses.
You must order the fried noodle, fried sotong, 3 flavour fish. They are superb and worth a repeated order on your next visit.
The fuyong egg, lala and fried mantis prawn are just average. And I would definitely avoid the asam prawn with its wierd inadequate asam in a sea of conflicting salty taste. The huan choo heok / sweet potato leave sambal is embarrassingly bad. The leave is old and tough to eat while the sambal taste seems to be lost in an ocean of conflicting taste.
However, the view, the open air environment and windy breeze more than makes up for the...
