I discovered that place in 2019. I ate there 2 times.
They offer here Malay (therefore halal) food
First time, I ate 2 roti canai with chicken curry sauce (3 rm) and they were good, teh tarik (2rm) and it was good
The second I tried Chicken rendang for lunch (5 rm, such a big piece of chicken with a lot of delicious sauce, the taste was so good and it was very cheap. I do recommend. However they donโt have all the time chicken rendang so you might be disappointed if there is no. Better try at lunch time. Otherwise it is very cheap and very good.
There were quite some Malay customers there
Cleanliness seemed to be ok
Few dishes to choose early morning, only rotis and prices are not mentioned anywhere and no menu.
Food quantity was good to very good, depending the time I went to eat there
What was strange is that some waiters donโt know the price of what they sell, they have to ask and you also because it is nowhere mentioned. But they are polite. They are Malaysians. The second time I spoke to a Malay woman making myself the effort to speak in her language and she watched me saying nothing and not answering. Well,โฆ
I would go back for their chicken rendang (when they have, when??) recipe if I pass by Butterworth and I donโt want KFC. Their roti canai are also good if I go there in...

ย ย ย Read moreI think taste is good, but itโs better if the meals are warmer.
Price is quite expensive than other shops in Penang Sentral. I just had a plate lunch here. 1 drumstick chicken, fried cabbage, fried clam with vegetables, and 2 small cooked squid, and steamed rice are 23.20MYR.
I saw 8MYR for a sandwich with drink at a cafe on the same floor. And the bus ticket from Penang Sentral bus station to Kuala Perlis, which takes 2hrs and half, is 15.10. Compare with those price, I canโt say lunch at the restaurant was good price.
I thought it was a casual restaurant in ordinary shopping center. Hope there will be price list so that customer will have chance to choose whether paying 23.20MYR for lunch or not.
However, for me, it was a nice first meal in Malaysia. Even it was not warm enough,...
