Sky Western Food Cafe — Restaurant in Penang

Been coming to this place quite often recently. Service is fast and accommodating, they try to fulfill our requests even with the language barrier. Open air beside a gas station. Parking might be limited on peak hours.

Visiting a place like this you have to curb your expectations, you are not going to a Michelin starred restaurant with gold flakes on your grilled chicken.

In fact coming to this place exceeded our expectations. Food is good, has been consistent the past months we’ve been visiting. Chicken chop served fresh from the fryer, hot, juicy and crispy with a side of your choice plus gravy…. for less than 15RM! Some of their set even comes for less than 10RM.

You are better off spending your 20RM here, in a family-run shop than a fastfood chain where the chicken is sad, dry and unappealing.

The only thing i can think of that is negative is that it is open air, no AC, dusty at times but then again, you get what...

First time visit, Ordered mix platter . Worth to try as portion is big. Owner flexible. I changed the chicken chop to grilled . 5 types of meat served. Good n recommend on chicken wing, grilled chicken, fish fillet. The nugget is acceptable. But the grilled pork spoil the serving. Dry, hard and thin. Nice black pepper sauce. Dip the French fries with their chilli sauce. Very nice. Overall worth the price u pay for. U can't get this price at...
