Upon receiving my drink at the pick-up counter, I was prompted to scan a QR code and give feedback. I remarked that it seemed a bit premature, considering it was my first visit and I hadn’t yet taken a seat or even tasted my drink. Still, I obliged, assuming it would be in line with the standard experience I’ve had at other outlets of this brand.
Unfortunately, I was in for quite a surprise.
As I made my way to a table, I found it hadn’t been cleaned — sticky stains were clearly visible. Staff eventually came over to wipe it, but by then I had already sat down on one of the single-seater sofas, only to sink right to the bottom. That chair is in desperate need of repair. While adjusting myself, I accidentally stepped on a piece of chocolate left on the floor, making quite a mess.
I moved to another table to settle down and begin my work. The hot chocolate I had ordered was thankfully very good — no complaints there.
About an hour later, my husband joined me and placed his order. To his dismay, we witnessed the staff hesitating over whether the pre-mix was sufficient. Rather than checking a reference or recipe, they discussed it among themselves and eventually settled on their own judgment. The resulting drink was poor, and he was very disappointed.
Later, I went to use the restroom and was met with yet another unpleasant surprise. It was in a terrible state — dirty, foul-smelling, and with a bidet that couldn’t even reach properly. How a globally recognized brand charging premium prices could get so many basic things wrong in a single visit was beyond me.

I recently visited Starbucks in Juru Auto City, and I was thoroughly impressed! The girl staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made my experience delightful. I ordered an Americano and was pleased to see it served in my own Starbucks tumbler, which was a nice touch.
The ambiance of the store was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. The coffee, as always, was top-notch, and the service was prompt and efficient.
