Sakura Matcha 3.2/5 Matcha profile: slight bitterness at first sip follwed by nutty flavour. Minimal grassy or earthy flavour and absolutely no fishy taste. Overall, their matcha is better than Zus. However, once I mix them well, all I could taste is sweetness from the syrup. To describe the sakura taste, I’d say that the most similar flavour that is common to everyone is lychee. It is fruity, slightly fragrant. The matcha? Gone. Once mixed, you cannot taste the matcha. All that’s left is sweetness from the syrup mixed with milk. There is a slight bitter aftertaste after I swallowed everything. For a matcha enjoyer, it is not recommended. For fellow matcha FOMO, this might be your favourite. Okay portion and nice colour and presentation for your post 👍🏻

Peach Tea 5/5 Their peach tea is the actual deal. It is what making me coming again and again. The pearl is not boba chewy but it is slightly harder, coarse and not like a typical tapioca boba. For a texture seeker, I loveee it. I usually ask for less sweet because the regular sweetness is too sweet for me. Recommended if you want something refreshing and doesn’t want milk based drink.

Kopi Kelapa 2/5 It was good. But it keeps getting worse. My first 3 times getting this menu, I liked it so much because I can taste the nuttiness and smoked coconut aroma. But now, it just taste like regular vietnamese coffee with extra cream. I don’t even bother getting this anymore.

Matcha Banana & Matcha Coconut 2/5 The matcha was barely there. Just a slight bitterness after a sip of sweet milky drink. The colour is there but the taste is always gone. I think the ratio is not for me.

Other than those above, the drink menus are generally very sweet. Their coffee taste also depends. Sometimes I got a nice kick of vietnamese coffee, the other day I got an acidic coffee. It is not consistent at all.

Now (11/8/2025) they launched a new series (Matcha). There are regular matcha and flavoured matcha; yuzu, sakura, blueberry and strawberry. They still have leftovers supply for Pistachio series so you can still get them before their stocks are finished.

For their food, I have tried the burnt cheesecake. I’d rate it 3/5. The cheesecake is okay. But it doesn’t have the texture that I’m looking for. Just another regulat burnt cheesecake and nothing special about it. Their croffle is also okay. It is good for the first hour of consumption. Leave it any longer than that, you’ll get a chewy croffle.

Environment 3/5 They have plenty of seats and you can refer pictures that I attached. I love their industrial interior and they keep the original tiles. It is quite rate nowadays to see this flooring because new owner would usually change them with boring big tiles that is generally easier to be maintained. The place is cold and you might need a sweater if you’re staying for any longer than 1 hour. The background music is calming, no weird music taste. You can study or hangout here in peace. However, they do not have sockets for you to charge your device. If you’re using iPad or notebook, you can survive studying here. Such a nice cafe to chill. The cafe is so aesthetic and instagrammable…their saigon coffee taste different from others and it’s really good . For those who don’t drink coffee , u can try their matcha !! i love it so much ! I’ve tried their peach tea too and surprisingly it taste so good ! But it is a seasonal drink so u guys have to grab it while it’s still available. They also have desserts so u can enjoy your coffee with something sweet . oh and they have new menu and it is croffle , u can choose the toppings and it’s scrumptious!! The price is reasonable. Vibe on point, place a bit small and limited though. As for the parking, It will be especially hard if you come by a car cuz this area is always packed. The food and coffee is gud. But don't expect taste like Starbucks or Zus coffee. The price is cheap exactly because of the ingredients. The dessert are well made. Although the thongs to picked up the dessert could be improved. Calling orders through the number on the resit is fine n dandy but please reorganize the resit's. Put the number upfront like fnb's instead of in a tiny corner. Other than the service a bit lacking. Its still a good place to eat...
