After hearing so much about Nasi Kandar Krishnan’s famous fried chicken, I finally decided to drop by and get some takeaway for my friends. The variety available was impressive — from nasi briyani, mutton, and seafood to their signature fried chicken, which is freshly fried every hour to maintain its crispiness and flavor.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food selection process is buffet-style, allowing you to pick and choose your favourites, which makes the experience feel casual and satisfying.

However, there’s some room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness, particularly around the chicken frying area. A cleaner prep environment would definitely elevate the overall experience and confidence in hygiene.

The shop is located at the roadside and we can park our car at the side of the road (in front of the shop) or at the side of the shop (where a space to park the car is available).

The shop consists of a variety of rice (white rice, chicken beriani, mutton beriani etc) and many types of curries (chicken, mutton, kicap, sambal etc), fried eggs, vegetables, salted egg. At another corner, chicken and prawn fried is available also variety of drinks.

The food is delicious and their signature is their fried chicken. We can eat the fried chicken. 3 person ate the food with a total of RM 70 (the price is reasonable with fresh delicacies).

I came at quite an hour of 3pm. Food almost all gone and whats leftover is cold. I had the flavored rice with fried chicken, fried eggs and telur masin. With a side of papadom (huge portion) and sirap limau, total came up to RM16.50. I must say, despite the cold food, the chicken was well marinated and rice flavorful. I am sure if the chicken is piping hot, it would taste much better... as i am writing this a group of 11 people are anxiously waiting in queue for the new batch of fried chicken.
