Tucked away on a quiet street, far from the usual hustle and bustle, Yuan Mun Restaurant is a hidden gem for noodle lovers. We ordered the roast pork noodle and Hakka noodles, and both dishes were impressive.
The roast pork was beautifully roasted, with a good balance of meat and fat, giving it a rich flavor and satisfying texture. The noodles were springy and well-coated in a flavorful sauce. Having tried a few well-known Hakka noodle places around Ipoh, I can say this one has definitely earned a top spot on my list! The flavor and texture are just right – perfectly balanced. A highlight for me was the blend of three different sauces, which came together beautifully to enhance the noodles’ taste. Their less-sweet white coffee was also a pleasant surprise, with a smooth, mellow taste that pairs well...
