Old school style kopitiam with THE best pau daging ever especially if you ask certain people who comes by to drop in annually. The charms are there all around... Triggering memories of yesteryear where things were definitely less complicated. The pau is the star and centre of attraction. Trying to describe how it is does it disservice. You simply have to come a d taste it yourself. The chicken chop is the traditional Hainan style. Again, taste would be according to individuals. Good Hailam style dishes. Lunch is only served after 1 pm. Everything is prepared from scratch and only if you have time for some 30 minutes wait. Pau is available daily but limited in quantity. You have to preorder to avoid disappointment. If you are willing to wait the chicken chop and Hailam mee is worth the wait. Roti bakar however is quite available readily.

Ancient but so clean. Fried Beehoon is so simple yet yummy delicious. Although my husband preferred d crunchy batter of a chicken chop, i thought it ws superbly well done for a Hainese chicky chop.
