62 Grillstreet Smashburgers Damansara Damai — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Was in the area, super hungry, and in the mood for a hearty, savory burger. I found this spot on Google, had good reviews and decided to give it a try.

The seating is located on the outskirts of the store, at tables along the walkway (giving you the real Damansara Damai experience)

I ordered the Bent it like Bacon burger and a vanilla milkshake. The burger was good—the bacon was a perfect contrast to the juicy patty. The bun held up well and wasn't soggy. The vanilla milkshake was thick, creamy, and had a rich flavor, not just a sugary taste.

While the food tasted great, the portion size felt small for the cost.

I'm a big eater, so I ended up needing a second dish to feel full, but it turned out my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I took the second burger to go. A few hours later, I heated it up for a late lunch, and I was impressed—the burger still held up well and tasted delicious, which is a sign of great quality.

I came on their opening day, but the guys look like have been doing this for years! Very pro while maintaining a good and chill vibe. The shop specialised in smash burgers, and they didn't disappoint. I tried the classic smash and wife tried 'bend it like bacon' which is bacon burger - both burgers are awesome. Flavourful patty, burger sauce was so good and the buns were something else (definitely not your typical roti burger!). They also serve cold fresh lemonade and strawberry lemonade in a cute bulb-shaped bottles. So refreshing!

Only thing is they have limited tables for now, so advice to come early or just order for takeaway. I've been waiting too long for Damansara Damai to have a cool burger joint like this, and then these guys came. Kudos...

I actually tried this burger because they had a pop-up store before the Muse concert but it was sooo good I just had to review it XD

We tried the Beef Smashed Burger which was RM13 if I'm not mistaken - So delicious! The patty itself was well seasoned and the edges of the patty had some nice crispy-ness to it! The buns were also buttery and toasty. Not to mention the melting cheese, the crunchy caramelised onions and the sauce was so tasty! Wish they put more of the sauce tho.

This was just a random encounter at a food festival but I would definitely visit their store in the future to eat their burgers again. Very recommended and keep up...
