I wanted to have lunch at the Oasis Ara Damansara branch on 19 Aug 2020 but when I was seated with 4 other people, your staff came to tell us that only 4 people can sit at that table.
Prior thereto, we have changed from another table to the current table because we were informed that 5 people can occupy the current table. After that, we were informed by another staff that they were referring to another table instead.
Now, while I was told (albeit not very politely) that only 4 ppl can sit at my table, at least 2 other similar tables had 5 people seated at their respective tables at that material time. Only when we pointed out to your staff, did your staff ask them to move from the respective tables.
With due respect, pls ask your staff to practice courtesy in addressing your patrons. I did not purposely sit at the table as I genuinely thought that 5 people can occupy the table. Secondly, pls practise consistency. It can't be a scenario where one table is allowed to sit 5 people and a similar table is allowed to sit 4 people.
Further, clear signs would have been helpful so that patrons are not unnecessarily told off for not adhering to the SOPs.
Suffice to say, I told your staff to practise consistency and left the restaurant without eating. And if there were more choices for lunch at Oasis, I would prefer not to patronise your kopitiam because obviously, you would not mind losing one patron in your...
Read moreI came with my family today at 10am. The outlet has half the tables taken occupied by customers, n 2 staff were seen clearing a few tables. I picked a table outside near the toilet n i was waving n calling to one of the staff clearing the tables. He was just within 2 metres from me n looked at me, but ignored me n went rushing to clear the tables inside instead.
I was obviously very frustrated with this kind of service. Nevertheless i waited for the another staff n called out this 2nd staff to clear my table. This 2nd staff was quick to acknowledge me n cleared my table without hesitation. The 1st staff i want to complain on was wearing red sneakers.
I frequent this Oasis outlet on n off n enjoyed their food. However if im getting bad service, im not gonna return anymore.
There was also a group of youths in the table next to mine. They were about to leave but i saw one of them were vaping n there was cigarette smoke smell in the air. I told off one of them to stop smoking to which the youth apologized.
What i want to highlight is that while i enjoyed the food here, the service needs attention from management. If the staff notice any group smoking or vaping, i hope they will take the proactive action to stop these ppl smoking inside outlet. Its really creating a...
Read moreThe services, WOW, what happened? SO BAD! Maybe you'll be given good services only if your name is Ali, Muthu or Ah Hock. Remember to bring your IC to show them ya. So MANY staffs here but it's like visiting a forced labor camp. Staffs are constantly looking angry and annoyed. Due to RMCO SOP, we waited in the empty queue. Waited for 5 minutes and ask the passing staff for "2 orang" table and was Ignored. Ah... maybe they do not understand our national language. So I tried with the international language instead and ask another passing staff for "2 people" table and was totally Ignored again. Wow! Ordered additional take away food and has to remind through 4 different staffs as we've waited for 30+ minutes. Finally hit the Nasi Lemak jackpot after the 5th reminder to the manager, Saiful. FYI, even Saiful is ignored by his own auntie staffs in the Nasi Lemak corner. Well, at least the staffs are fair to everyone, did not choose who to ignore. NOTE: 1 Star for somewhat helpful manager Saiful, not because it's the minimum Star allowed on Google Review ya. Do not recommend this place unless maybe if your name is Ali, Muthu or Ah Hock... I think? Not guaranteed ya, you might still...
