⭐ 1 Star (Service) I was trying to find a proper channel to provide my feedback, but since there is none, I’m leaving this review as I believe it’s important for your business to take note before it becomes a downfall.
Positive first – The coffee has improved a lot compared to my previous visits, and the food quality has been maintained.
However, the service is where everything falls apart:
Not attentive – Crew members were not responding properly when asked questions, sometimes using rude or casual tones such as “wait/ah/hello.” This applies both in-store and when calling your listed phone number.
On mobile phones – Staff were seen busy on their phones instead of attending to customers. Emergencies are understandable, but you pay staff to serve customers first.
No greetings or upselling – In the 2 hours I was there, I observed several customers entering, waiting, then leaving because no one welcomed them or guided them.
Lack of hospitality – It’s okay for colleagues to chat, but not when customers have to wave multiple times to get attention. Even then, crew members did not smile or show warmth.
I want to emphasize: being a foreign staff member is no excuse. Proper training, supervision, and monitoring can improve anyone’s service quality.
Hospitality is the backbone of F&B. Customers pay for the food and the service, and that’s what differentiates you from street vendors and justifies your pricing.
Lastly, I tried calling your supervisor (Irene). My call was cancelled, and no follow-up was made.

I genuinely feel sorry and could empathise with some people who had their fair share of unpleasant experiences due to being misled or misguided to think that this isn’t a vegetarian restaurant at first glance. 🥺
At the same time, may I say that pls do not allow that one or a couple of bad experiences with this restaurant to mislead from not giving this place a try again. And if have yet to try out this place, pls don’t allow the negative reviews to hold you back from giving this place a try either 🙏
Why I’m saying this? As a meat lover myself who would rarely associate myself with vegetarian food itself, I might actually be converted into a vegetarian soon enough just by giving this place a try for a couple more times! 🥹
Why I’m saying this? Because I’ve never tasted such delicious vegetarian food itself until I came here. It made me rethink that vegetarian food can actually be good. It really does give a taste from kampung. Even though kampung rarely have vegetarian dishes, but the vegetarian dishes here most certainly can match closely to the same vibe and taste. I wouldn’t be surprised if I become a vegetarian myself after a few times. 🤣

Understand cheras branch newly open,and truly understood staff being untrained,I am fine. After open so many branches,finally is opening near my house area,why not give a try. 1st time in megah rise branch,waiting for seat at entrance,the boss,glance at me and IGNORE ME.She don't even bother to ask me how many person,dine in or take away.after a while,finally she asked me,how many person. Then,she come back with me:" found small table for 4 persons,if you ok,then you come in la". Ok,I really hungry at time,I sit down and had my lunch. Second time I went megah rise, my family were eating half way, the boss or staff asked them to stand up and because of old people need the table. Because they are old people,we didn't say no. However,the reason I wrote this is because,we are also customer,I sincerely feel this is unfair and does not treat us as a customer at all. The above are my own experience,own feeling.
