Cincin Megah Rise — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Had a very nice dinner here. Noticed that it is a place favoured for birthday celebration. We had 5 tables (including mine) celebrating. Hence, it was a truly very celebratory atmosphere.

Food was pretty good. Our attempt on the pork tomohawk was good. Pork was succulent and flavourful. The siew yok pizza, liberico pork ribs, mushroom soup were all good. Only 2 dishes which were a bit of a letdown i.e. the nachos and the rib eye steak. The former is quite pricy of what was served in terms of ingredients and portion. The way it was served resulted in soggy nachos which we were not fans of. We requested for medium rare steak and it came as medium/well done at best. The wine was ok and no complaints on the 2 bottles for price of 1 promo.

The environment and service made up for the slight negative in food. Cant find any negatives for the serice team. They were definitely busy given it was full house. But we did not feel slighted hence kudos to the team.

The live band was a 2 piece member. Belted out pretty nice ballads and largely chinese songs. Very soothing and the duo is very good. I will be tempted to return just for some drinks and music if they are permanent...

We came here to celebrate Christmas Eve with high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be disappointing.

We arrived at 6:15 PM. The staff informed us that we could only dine until 8 PM. We agreed to this arrangement. We ordered a pizza and a pork tomahawk. The pizza arrived after 45 minutes. We finished it quickly and continued waiting for the pork tomahawk.

After another hour and a half, the dish still had not arrived. I approached a server to follow up. They assured me it would be ready in five minutes. I waited another 15 minutes, but nothing happened. The staff insisted the dish would be ready in two more minutes, trying to persuade us to stay. At this point, I was too upset to wait any longer. I refused their offer and paid the bill. They offered only a brief apology.

This ruined what should have been a joyful Christmas Eve. The food itself was average. If you plan to visit on a special occasion, be prepared to wait at least two hours for your meal. Otherwise, you might leave hungry and disappointed, just...

Here goes… I’ll keep it short and sweet

We ordered ribeye steak & pork tomahawk. With a bottle of wine 😊

My personal favourite is their ribeye steak. They got it right as it was not overly seasoned, it’s tender, juicy and the best thing is, they do not flood it with gravy.

While my other half ordered their pork tomahawk which was great.

The wine that was introduced to us was also good. The girl who introduced it to us is knowledgeable and we enjoyed it.

Last but not least, Their staff are friendly, love the lighting and ambiance. The best part is you have space around you and you don’t have that uncomfortable feeling of being in a sardine can.😅
