Was recommended this place to try. It is located at Kota Damansara and parking is easily available after office hours. The place is well patroned and it makes sense to make a rservation if possible to avoid disappointment. Service is good and the waiter is patient and happy to make recommendations. We ordered the creamy basil chicken, assam pomfret, lemak paku, signature yum yum egg and a cendol. We were rather surprised to find that the food arrived very prompty at the table except for the pomfret. While this is great for hungry stomachs, we noticed that some are not hot, which suggests that they are like pre-prepared before hand, hence the reason they could be served very quickly. This is probably our only complaint, albeit a minor one. The signature egg is very crispy but the topping which comprised of a sauce of minced meat is pretty average. It is nevertheless very palatable. The creamy basil chicken is flavourful and while not exactly steaming hot, still crispy. The star of the meal has to be the lemak paku which is very addictive. We could not help but to 'flood' our rice with the gravy. The pomfret was much bigger than we had expected. We initially asked for a small one as there were only 3 of us, but the pomfret would easily feed more. Perhaps it is because they are of a standard size. In any case, it was rich and aromatic. Tangy due to the tomatoes and tamarind and goes well with rice. We could not finish the fish and had to take away almost half. The cendol is pretty average and we have had better. Nevertheless, it is nice to have something sweet after a heavy meal. On the whole, I would happily recommend Little Yum Yum. We spoke to other patrons who were also happy with their meals.

Went there with ten persons. Ordered eight dishes and eight plates of rice. Get charges 10 plates of rice in the end. When we checked the receipt only realised they overcharged. Anyhow, we just need to pay extra careful when make payment. Seldom we didn't check the invoice, this time we missed and get overcharged. 😆 For the food here, we are quite satisfied in overall. Salted egg fried squid is quite tasty, not like the hard “wyre” ring. Lol~ surprisingly their fried brinjal quite special and delicious. Will order again on next visit. Fried tauhu with special sauce also not bad. Their paku is cook in Lemak type. Can give it a try. Their yum yum fried egg I feel like moderate as we tasted that day a bit tasteless. Their Nyonya fish also got some room for improvement. Their lime Assam boi juice quite nice and the lemongrass juice. We total ordered two jugs of lime Asam Boi juice and one jug lemograss juice. It is RM25 per jug. Lol~ we total spent RM75 in beverage. 🤣 Their service are quite friendly. That's why when they overcharged us the rice we considered paid tips for the friendly service. 😆 If can please make an appointment before you go. Their business is mostly crowded. To prevent you get no table and need to queue up, please make reservation first before you go. Last but not least, enjoy your Nyonya meal there.

A delightful neighborhood spot in Kota Damansara, Little Yum Yum offers a delectable fusion of halal Nyonya, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese cuisines. The dishes here are not only flavorful but also complemented perfectly with steamed white rice. The Pandan chicken stands out with its exceptional tenderness and well-balanced marinade. Yum Yum's special egg, presents a delightful blend of minced chicken, onions, and spring onions, expertly cooked into a fluffy omelette. The center of the egg carries a slight runniness, adding to its overall enjoyment. My husband and I were particularly fond of the Sambal prawn with petai. Its simplicity, heartiness, and deliciousness were truly remarkable, leaving us with empty plates. Considering the quality, the prices remain quite reasonable. Little Yum Yum is undoubtedly a top choice for family dinners or gatherings with friends. Additionally, the restaurant experiences high demand during weekend dinner hours, often leading to crowded seating. I strongly advise considering the option of reserving a table in advance to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience at Little Yum Yum without any unnecessary waiting.
