First timer here. The whole vibe of this mamaque was comfy. No huge chandelier and fancy walls, just a simple deco, that fits the common folks. I ate roti canai kosong and a nasi lemak daun pisang(bungkus) and it was #omnomnom yummeh. The roti cost about 2 ringgit, but the size of it worth the price. The dal gravy is okay (I had better) but the sambal inside made it better. Then, I ate a Nasi Lemak bungkus (2 ringgit; in comparison to Nasi Lemak biasa 4 ringgit) (moral of the story: eat Nasi lemak bungkus) For a mamaque, their nasi lemak can go head to head with mak ciks at the side of the road. The nice kick from Sambal, the crunchy bilis and peanuts... And the fragrant rice as well. Hot damn. Oh... Their lontong.... Smells good... I wish I ordered that. But next time for sure

Will come here...

Makan sedap but the service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I would give zero stars if I could.

Waited half hour for maggi goreng (and asked 3 different staff members to check on our order throughout that period) only to find out that our waiter had confused orders and it was not even cooked.

They also only finally checked the order cuz another angry customer brought up the fact that we haven't buka puasa yet. Absolutely horrible service. Not just slow. The staff also very, extremely, unbelievably, lazy! Only know to blame each other, don't take it as a responsibility to solve issues. We asked THREE different people to check our order, THREE!

Had slightly bad experience the first time I ate here, should not have given it another chance, and neither should...

Heard a lot about this place. I've visited this place 3 times already. Thought that maybe it was my 1st time (weekday lunch time) or 2nd time (weekday supper time), and I may be feeling biased.

So today is the 3rd time (weekday lunch time). It is confirmed. The food here is pricey. Average per head is RM11 per head for nasi kandar. 1 fried chicken + 1 vege = RM10. 1 fried catfish + 1 egg = RM12. So go easy on the variety if you don't want to get a shocking bill.

Taste. Just above average. Curries are not too salty but sweet! And not spicy at all.

Pasembor (Rojak mamak style) too sweet and not spicy...

Mamak style fried beehoon was too sweet and salty too...

Teh tarik was good but too sweet even after "kurang,...

A handsome place just as the name goes, with generous portions and well-balanced flavors. Nasi Goreng Kampung; rendang tender, with rich tempeh and tasty gulai for the nasi campur. Tea c pandan and tea o ice were refreshing, served in the current style of ikat tepi to go. The food was served hot, with seasonings just right without overpowering either. Perfectly suited for comfort food filling Malaysian favourites with a modest price tag.

Was there at 11am, not many people. Bright, with lots of tables. Staff ok. Ordered maggi goreng (not all mamak provide limau kasturi to go with your noodles but this do), bihun goreng (got give limau kasturi), teh tarik & teh ais (RM16.50). Both noodles are nice, not too soft or salty) but teh tarik is too sweet (once in a while, ok. Everyday drink, potong kaki). 😀
