Very disappointed with the customer service we got today. My family and I are regular customers of this restaurant as the food here is reasonably priced and tasty. There was a combo value set RM 55 promoted on their social media which consisted of a Tom yam soup, kailan stir fry and pandan chicken paired up with rice and drinks. We arrived at the restaurant at 8pm where we were attended by their so called supervisor by the name of Atavur (foreigner with broken English). He was very unwelcoming and rude when asked about the promotion. At first he told us (RUDELY) they ran out of kailan so the set was not available. I requested to speak to their manager as he was not interested to even listen to any of our request. Within seconds he changed his mind and agreed to offer us the set when I wanted to speak to his superior. Which made us even more angry because he had the audacity to lie about the availability of the set that we requested for. I insisted to speak to his superior, he lied again saying that he runs the place. Wow mind blowing! Not only was he being rude, now he’s even lying about owning the place. I immediately contacted their hotline customer service to put in a formal complain against Atavur, but they refused to take any formal complain. Great job SOI55! U just lost a loyal customer of yours. And if that so called supervisor of yours does not get sacked I guess your business will be going...

I had good experience with this business until today I felt very DISAPPOINTED with it. To be honest, the RM25 discount deal they offered in TnG platform was a good deal and I'm happy to use it for dinner in this restaurant. As a regular customer, I always ask the staff every time before I use any voucher or deal they offer, today, as usual I asked that am I able to use the TNG deal for the food I ordered exceeding RM55, according to the T&C, the answer is YES. Until upon making payment, I redeemed the TnG voucher for the discount but being told that I CANNOT use the voucher because my order is less that RM55, to my surprise, they told me rice is not considered as FOOD 😳.. , I told them I had use the voucher previously with same food ordered.. but still the answer is rice is not considered as FOOD.. well.. I ended up paying full amount of the bill without further ruining my mood, together with a wasted TnG voucher worth 500 points. Personally feel like they have quietly changed the rules to exclude rice as food so customer like me will ended up not eligible 😭 . Probably not going back for a fairly long period of time after this BAD...

Ordered from here via Grabfood around 2 days ago. Highly appreciated the fast delivery and the food tasted great but 2 things were disappointing. The first one being the missing order of extra rice but that's a small matter. The main thing that disappointed my family and I the most is there were egg shells in TWO dishes (Stir fried chicken with basil leaf & egg and Pineapple fried rice).

No no no, we are not talking about maybe just a small piece among the thousands grains of rice. With almost every bite, we could bite something crunchy and immediately we just spit it out.

It wasn't intentional to pick up the egg shells onto 1 spoon but that's exactly what we got. There were 2 obvious egg shell pieces on the spoon and there is 1 BIG piece in the pineapple fried rice. Those are the only pieces we got on camera but there were more when we were eating.

This is terrible because not only does it ruin the experience of the meal, it poses as a risk to food poisoning but luckily, nothing happened so far.

Hopefully this never happens to anyone again because the other dishes really...

I heard a lot about this restaurant from social media. Finally able to try the food here. Me and my wife chose to order both from the lunch set and ala cart menu. We ordered the lunch set (stir fried basil chicken with egg and rice+lemon grass water+plain tom yum soul) and i ordered the steamed fish with garlic and lime with white thai fragrant rice. The stir fried basil chicken was cooked perfectly with lots of umami taste, savoury yet very satisfying. The plain tom yum was also very nice. Creamy but not too spicy. As for the steamed fish, it was almost a perfect dish only for a few scales left during preparation of the fish..the taste was very good, comparable to the one in absolute thai..the service was quick. Cleanliness was ok but can be improved. Parking is a bit tricky especially during peak hours. Price was moderate to high as you would expect from this brand. But worth the money. Recommended for those craving for thai food.

Had an absolutely satisfying dinner at Soi 55, Sri Damansara. The food was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. We ordered a range of dishes including the steamed lime fish, signature tom yum seafood, otak-otak in coconut shell, and a fluffy Prawn omelette — every item was delicious and well-balanced in taste. The steamed lime fish stood out for its fresh, zesty flavour and tender texture, while the tom yum had a rich, spicy-sour broth packed with seafood and herbs. The otak-otak was fragrant and creamy, served in a fresh coconut which added a nice aroma. Even the omelette was crispy outside and soft inside, topped with sliced chili for a little kick. Service was fast and friendly, the ambiance was comfortable for family dining, and the portion sizes were generous. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy, clean setting. Will definitely come again!
