Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I am a regular patron of this Pizza Hut restaurant, but today I had one of the most disappointing experiences here. I ordered a pizza via the app for my sister to pick up later, while my family and I planned to dine in. Shortly after being seated, the waitress (pictured) called my name. At this point, my wife and kids were still looking at the menu to decide on their order. When I acknowledged it was my order, the very first thing she said - without any greeting or courtesy - was, "Cannot eat here!" This was shocking, as even the most basic standard of hospitality in any F&B establishment is to greet customers politely with something as simple as, "Good evening, sir." Instead, I was met with abrupt and unprofessional behavior, barely a minute after sitting down.

As I proceeded to pay for the pizza, intending to pass it to my sister when she arrived, this same rude waitress continued to repeat, "Cannot eat here!" in a condescending and unpleasant tone. This kind of service is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the training and customer service standards of this establishment. Hospitality is not just about serving food—it’s about treating your customers with respect and courtesy, both of which were completely absent during this visit.

Frustrated, my family and I decided to leave the restaurant and head to Domino’s Pizza nearby. This will probably be my last visit to this Pizza Hut if this staff member continues to work...

Ordered a medium pizza with double pepperoni, onion, sausage, salami and mushroom on half. When it was delivered, Most of the pizza had no cheese or sauce and very little meat! Called to speak with the manager 5 times before someone finally picked up the phone but the manager was on a break and he never called me back. The person who answered said they would issue a credit for my next delivery since they had no available drivers (as if I'm going to order again). They finally sent another pizza 65 minutes later and they wanted the original pizza back! The second pizza had more meat but the dough was undercooked... My husband called the next day but again the manager never called back. This Pizza Hut needs new management and staff that know how to make a pizza. They seem to have an I don't care attitude. I am done...

Pre-lockdown period, it was a good environment as it has a nice restaurant setting to dine in or to take away your PH order. Due to the lockdown orders by the government from Year 2020 and 2021, tables and chairs have been removed and the service has gone from good to worse. Not certain if this is a part of the company's cutting cost measures, Personal pizza sizes had shrunk from rather a decent size to a much smaller size. Toppings had been reduced and...
