Ribs King — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Pass-by quite a few times and always crowded so we decided to give a try for our early dinner. They serve us with complimentary soup and dessert as soon as we sat on the table. Ordering via QR code but there were too many choices which is very confusing. One dish with two codes for BIG & SMALL portion. We placed our order via QR and couldn’t check on our orders after sending it. We need to ask the staff if our orders have been placed because there’s no ticket printed to send over to our table upon ordering thus we are unable to double check on our orders. 2pax, we ordered 3dishes and 2bowl of rice. The Eggplant came in a very huge portion, so we asked the staff if the dish is BIG or SMALL cause it is massive. The staff came back and told us we ordered BIG portion ONLY THEN they show up with our ordering ticket. We have no choice since it was our fault placing order wrongly with no option to double check our orders.

SIGNATURE RIBS (NOT RECOMMENDED)- Ribs were so dry and cold. We have a very high expectation because that is their so call “SIGNATURE” dish which were very disappointing. NESTUM FRIED SQUID - the only dish I like but not my partner EGGPLANT with MINCED PORK - the one we ordered in wrong size. Big cut of eggplant which causes some of the eggplants were raw inside. We also found a hair in the dish. (Were over disappointed, did not took a picture of it) After taking away our food and went over to the counter to make payment. The 2 Chinese men were chit chatting laughing behind the counter. We walked pass, they saw us walking towards to the counter but did not bother at all. We stand infront of the counter waiting for someone to give us the bill. After a few minutes, we started calling the Two Chinese guy. Both of them were walking slowly towards the counter (still chit chatting). My partner even asked, we don’t need to make payment isit? The guy ignored and asked which table we sat. We told him why couldn’t we check on the items once we sent in the order? He told us “if you want you can ask the staff to print for you” HAHA

"This restaurant serves many varieties of pork chop with different kinds of sauce. Very delicious and always packed!! Thay have a 2nd outlet just 3 doors away which is also very packed during lunch and dinner times. There is also a number of variety of other dished like noodle and fried rice, which is very tasty as well. If you are a pork chop lover, you have got to visit this place. The servings are slighly larger than normal and the prices are also very reasonable. They also pervide set meals during dinner and lunch. 😙😙😙👍🏻👍🏻. I will be back soon for my next pork chop craving!

I actually came back to this restaurant a few times. I managed to try out their other dishes besides their pork chop dishes. I managed to try out their noodles and also salads. Noodles portion was also very large. Their salad portion was also large enough to serve 2 pax. So take it easy if you order extra side dishes. They are very generous in terms of their portions. Noodle dishes tasted very delicious. No regrets ordering noodle dishes. Very versatile cook handling the kitchen. I notice the set menu offers a very popular choice of meals. And prices offered are very resonable. I can assure you that. I quite like to come here coz the environment is pleasant for family gathering or large groups. And the food here definately is worth it. I am giving this place a 5 star rating coz of the portion and prices on the menu. Not to mention also the large variety of dishes offered. You can never run out of choices here. Air conditioned restaurant with nice ambience, generous food portion yet priced at affordable level? Shut up and take my money already. This popular restaurant located in Taman Paramount in PJ serves yummy food without breaking the bank.

We found ourselves here one Saturday afternoon, and after braving the traffic jam and then finally found a parking spot (limited especially during peak hours)... I found out that this siu chow restaurant really lives up to its reputation. From rice set to fried noodles, westerns, vegetarian dishes or even proper dining dishes... They have it all!

◾homemade Chinese sausage - my mouth was itchy to bite on something while waiting for the orders. ◾pork chop with black pepper sauce - two slabs of meat served with lots of fries and coleslaw.. and delicious black pepper sauce. ◾Golden egg yolk fried rice - it was a sight to behold. The portion that we ordered was enough to feed at least 3 adults. The golden colour of the salted egg yolk brighten up this otherwise ordinary fried rice. Sinful indeed. ◾spare ribs in butter milk sauce rice set - the son requested for this dish and somehow he managed to polish the whole plate meant for adult.
