Tom, Dick & Harry's, Oasis Square — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

The OASIS TDH has terrible service. I cannot fathom how it is still open with such ridiculously oblivious, incompetent and badly trained staff.

I went there with a couple of friends and ordered my meal - spaghetti carbonara. I specified no beef bacon (being vegetarian). The waiter did not bother to write down out orders.

About 30 mins later the same waiter came back to say he had already informed the kitchen of our order, but wanted to check with them, so he asked for our order again. Obviously, he had not informed the kitchen, as he proceeded to play a guessing game with us on what we had ordered. He had no clue.

20 mins later, our food arrived, but my carbonara had beef in it (or so I thought) and I sent it back to the kitchen. They brought back the same carbonara, informing me that it was not beef but pork...

Clearly, the menu did not specify that there was any other meat in the dish but beef. I sent it back to the kitchen, specifying AGAIN that I was vegetarian, and therefore the dish should have NO meat.

10 minutes later they sent another carbonara to the table. This time, there was port mixed into the dish.

Made a fuss, spoke to a guy called Win (who claimed to be the manager, though I highly doubt so), and I finally had my meatless carbonara delivered to the table - although by that time, I was too fed up to eat it.

We've sent an email complaint to TDH the day after this occurred but have yet to receive a response.

Truly hated...

Was there on the 31st December 2018 to celebrate the new year. I booked my table 2 days in advance and was assured of a place for us. On the respective evening 10mins before arrival I gave a call and spoke to Jared and told him we might be 10mins late due to the rain and heavy traffic jam. Upon arrival, we found that our table was taken and we were given the run around when I asked what's going to happen next. Out of nowhere the manager appear and told us we were late but I told him I call and spoke to Jared. His excuse is Jared is only a bartender! So if the bartender is not responsible for booking then why is he answering the phone? After some exchange of words the manager finally got us a place and sarcastically ask us are we satisfied now and tick me off for scolding him. Come on, the music was to the max and we have to turn up our volume to speak! He does not realise he is also talking at the higher volumn! He said i was embrassing him and even refused a hand shake from me. Now who is embrassing who? On normal days when we went, service was good. I guess this people was stress out coz of the hugh crowd turning up for the celebration but then again, do we deserve treatment like this if the staff cannot handle...

I visited Oasis Damansara on the first day of 2025, following our lunch at Zukkini. While the area might seem a bit deserted, there are definitely some good reasons to come here, especially for food.

One major draw for my visit was the free parking. It was around 3:30 PM, a typical tea time, but we decided to stop by this bar just as they opened. At that moment, we were the only customers there. We enjoyed our drinks while watching the staff transition the Christmas decorations to prepare for Chinese New Year.
