⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Local flavors with great value This is a local restaurant serving mostly Asian-style dishes with a slight Western touch. The place itself isn’t the most visually appealing, but it’s clean and well-kept. Communication was a bit tricky since the staff doesn’t speak much English, though with the help of the internet, it was manageable. Service was fast and attentive, and the food was genuinely good. We ordered chicken fried rice, sweet and sour beef, popcorn chicken, and drinks. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. They don’t offer desserts, so keep that in mind. The prices were very affordable, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal. You can pay with card. We’ll definitely come back—one of the best places to eat in Redang.

The only plus point of this cafe is they provide free shuttle to/from hotels. Just give them a call when you already arrived at the hotel lobby and the shuttle van will arrive within 8 minutes (we stay at Redang Island Resort). Food wise just an average. Nothing to shout about. Pricing wise is very steep but it is understandable as we are on a remote island. Just to give you an idea, a plate of Nasi Goreng Kampung will set you back RM13. Beside F&B they also cater for any water activities, water taxi etc.

Come to this place tobeat on several occasions Ordered dishes containing prawns, squid, chicken and beef just to name a few... My personal favourite was the nasi goreng u.s.a with beef Each and every single dish was more or less bursting with different flavours, absolutely mouthwatering 👌💯🔥🔥, bite after bite you couldn't get enough The fresh juices ordered to wash down the meals, went down a treat also DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO TRY OUT

Stayed here for 3D2N under the package of ASMADI REDANG ISLAND SERVICES with my family and friends (20 people). 1. First day, to Merang Jetty, we parked our cars in the parking provided (RM10 per day). We had to walk on foot, less than 5 minutes to the jetty. Only on our last day, there was a van driver waiting to bring us to the car park. I'm not sure if on the first day we were supposed to go to the jetty by van too instead of walking on foot, too tired to ask.

Upon arrival (45 minutes via speedboat), there were 2 vans taking us to the guest house which is located in a village. After checked in, we were given the itinerary which was a bit different from the one posted in their FB page. Snorkelling: 6 point, which was supposed to be 7. Only went to Teluk Dalam Beach once (1st day), supposed to be twice (1st and 3rd day).

On the 2nd day, we reached at the cafe a bit late for lunch after went snorkelling and found out that there was only a little food left. When we asked, we were told that there was no refill. We asked the staff to fry eggs. Some of us ate only rice + fried eggs for lunch, too tired and hungry to argue. We learned that, we should come early to eat. Hope the management will look up on this matter.

Overall, it was such a wonderful experience to see breathtaking views, crystal clear water, snorkelling to witness many turtles and corals. Hats off to all staff of Asmadi Redang Island Services. Drivers, boatmen, snorkelling guide, Cikgu Jeff. Their skills and time management were...

Had a dinner with family here tonight. Service staff was kind (with great smile), we expected some waiting time since there was another big table around, but we were served sooner than we expected.

However, one of the main dish went wrong. Server A made a wrong order so we asked for attention. Server B came and we voiced out the issue, I stop eating while waiting for my wife's food. After a long while (other clients came after but were served 1st) I stood up and ask for our replacement food. They didn't even started doing it and ask us to pay for their order mistake!!

I talked to them nicely about our positive dining experience (great cooking, 3 other dishes were good, smiley service staff, service speed) until they ask us to pay for their order mistake (they didn't repeat order in the first place).

Me as a restaurateur explained to them if they make me pay for this I'm not going to come back for the rest of my stay at Redang Island (we wanted to come back the next evening) and they insisted me to pay for that dish.....earn 1 plate and lose a happy and potential return customer, I just don't know what to say....
