Came here on Saturday around 1pm. It was a drizzle of rain, decided to wait until it stop because we saw the staff went inside. Around 2:30pm, we went down (from the parking lot to boat lake area) but no one at the dock area, we went to the office below to ask, only to get "Check the booth. Maybe got staff there, can ask them instead". Okay cool, we went there. No one in sight. No sign of "Going on a break" or "Boats are not available due to the weather" whatsoever. We waited for abit walking around the park and came back after 10-15mins, still no staff. Decided to call, but they hung up on me before I get to say "Hello"
At this point there were 2,3 families waiting at the dock. Then we saw a staff coming, while holding a bungkusan makanan (I believe so) He went inside the booth then my partner asked him if it's available? "Hujan renyai2, takut tak selesa" he replied
So we left and got into the car, upset. Oh, and we saw the families was on their way to their cars too. Truly disappointed. Waited 1.5 hours only to get "takut tak selesa dalam boat nanti" Hujan renyai2 je pun, at least put a sign on the booth so we know. This is my first time at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya and it was not pleasant and difficult. Not coming...
Read moreWe booked 3 kayaks one day in advance, however, the staff told us that there are only one kayak booked. The staff helped us make an booking made a mistake on the number of kayaks required. The staff was not willing to help even though we showed them the booking confirmation for 3 kayaks.
After much fussing about, they gave us the kayaks. There isn’t any safety briefing and most of the life jackets have faulty zips. We get in a kayak and there isn’t any staff helping us. When we were at the water, we got shouted very rudely by the life guards. We were not supposed to paddle past the bridge or the mosque. However, since there isn’t any safety briefing or instructions given to us. We were not aware of it.
The kayak area is very small and it is crowded especially on weekends. The scenery is nice and relaxing. However, the whole experience was not pleasant and the booking/kayaking experience was very unorganised. The staff are not helpful as well.
The place has a changing and shower room. The kayak will get yourself wet as some of the water might enter the kayak. So, remember to bring clothes for changing...
