I am currently waiting for the Management to contact me in regards to my daughters birthday party at this Mcdonald. Super disappointed with the service provided. The Party Planner did not brief us on the party package details and we went there physically to booked for the birthday party. On the day of the party, i was told my Daughter’s party will be conducted at the outdoor area & the indoor area with the playground was booked for another party. How can they let this happened to us? (Eventhough i took the larger package which is Package B with minimum order of RM500). My daughter’s slot was from 4pm till 7pm but as the Party Planner went downstairs and left us hanging, our party was handled by another Party Planner. So the party started at 4.50 pm ! Only then the food were 100% ready. Thank God the other party planner was willing to handle the party eventhough everything went haywire from there. My Invitations were for 40+ people, so it was super crammed inside the mcd as our party area had to be shared by two parties. I didn’t want to make a scene as all my family members & friends have arrived and i couldn’t ask them to leave. PLEASE take our booking seriously, we are paying for your food & services provided, how can your Party Planner who screwed up her bookings for not communicating everything to us EVEN leave us hanging on the day of the party because she was too afraid to handle it as we were furious at her! Still waiting for Mcd’s management to contact us, if not i will bring this...
Read moreWhenever we’re in town, we make it a point to cycle in the morning and get our breakfast here. It’s a goldmine, breakfast right infront of the majestic lake of Putrajaya.
I’m not the one to be petty but today I actually felt I have been discriminated by one of the crew.
We got our usual brekkie, McMuffins, OJ, Pancakes, Coffee & Hashbrowns. On top were Cili Sos, since it’s too early and must have ketchup with hashbrowns, I’ve asked of the girls at the counter for some ketchup. She rummaged through the containers on top of the counter and found none. She said, “no ketchup”. I was in disbelief, no way #McDonald’s is going to run out of ketchup. Mustard sure, but surely not ketchup. It’s unheard of. So I asked again, “none at all?” And she said, adamantly, “No”. Still in awe, with our food on a tray, I went to our table, where my husband was waiting and told him what just transpired. He said I must be kidding. He couldn’t believe it. So, off he went, my husband who is of white skin, tall and accented. Saw him talking to one of the girls at the counter. Lo and behold, he came back with 5 packets of Tomato Sos!
I know it’s no biggie, but I was offended. Your own skin? I’m not Malay, but really? We’re both brown, isn’t there an unspoken rule that we should look after our own? It’s that, or she was...
Read moreI’d like to share my humble experience hosting a birthday event here at this McD outlet in Putrajaya. For context, we have hosted elsewhere and even attended as a guest but nothing comes close to this as THE ideal gathering spot for both kids and adults. You have the parks, the beautiful bridge and sunset view, ample carparks and if you need a decent cake to add to the celebration, it's no secret that the right place to get it is located just right opposite. ;)
Back to this McD, the service was a memorable one! I am very grateful for having a supportive team led by Cik Elyana to help us with the party planning and ensure everything ran smoothly as it should, from correspondence to taking orders and gentle reminders before the event day. The team have been very accommodating to all our request, I can't ask for more as long as the fries served are hot and the guests have enough to eat.
The kids have fun playing games, receiving toys as gifts and enjoy free sundae cones. The only thing I regretted, was not having the opportunity to selfie with everyone in the team before we left. Good customer service is a gem, so I would strongly recommend to have your kids' birthday...
