Read moreHad the opportunity to be at the Dataran Putrajaya Prencinct 3 on New Year's Eve last night, 31 December 2019. Was slightly in tears as the year 2020 that we talked about so much when we were kids has finally come and we are able to reach the moment. We explained to the kids. But later after the event, we were sad to see rubbish scattered around. The rubbish just waits for the workers to come and clean it. For foreigners, best to take a cab/uber and stop at the Ministry of Sports. From there take a 1km straight walk directly towards the Grand Mosque of Putrajaya and the Prime Miniesters Office. There weather can be quite challenging ranging from hot and humid to cold rains. Always good to be prepared with an umbrella and some water.
