Sakura Zen — Restaurant in Sabah

A non-management Japanese restaurant. There are approximately 9 staff in the restaurant, however, everyone does not understood their own role. Tables are not cleaned after the previous guest left. Menu are not ready for the newly step in guest. Upon order placed, it takes 10 mins to serve the drinks, 20 mins to serve the bento set and the worst is 26 mins to serve a plate of sushi (6pieces). The senior sushi chef do nothing while watching his junior to prepare my dish of sushi for 26mins! Train your people when there aren’t any customer; not treating your customer as a white rat!

The best place for Japanese food in Tawau. Much better quality than "cheap" Japanese food like Sushi King, which is often similarly priced.

Good comfortable seating booths, or tables for bigger parties (can easily arrange a long table to accommodate a party of 16, or a room for 30 people, but best to reserve it early).

There's also a sushi bar, with the rotating food train.

The only thing is the toilets could use some renovations to make it more contemporary and...

I actually visit for the first time and trying to get experience but their services were like I'm a regular here. I really enjoyed my time there. I'll come back here...
