Lao Yang Dim Sum — Restaurant in Sarawak

When I first came here, it was because of my dim sum craving. Unfortunately, it was at night and they don't serve it at night. Hence, I tried on their Wat Tan Hor, and it was great. Many times had l attempt to look for Wat Tan Hor that had the ultimate taste similar to what my imagination could tell me (Wat Tan Hor similar like Sandakan's), and bingo! I found it at Lao Yang. Moreover, their Wheatgrass C and 3 Layer Tea taste just as good as I wanted it to be. On top of that, I came here for another time to have a try on their dim sum (alone) - I ate a lot, and it didn't disappoint me at all. From that moment, it became one of my starred eating places. Even, then environment is soothing and calming plus quite traditional looking - which I enjoyed as a solo eater traveler. On the other hand, I tried their pork chop and it was deliberately excellent to. To this day, none of the food that I ordered by instinct made me sad. I love to eat and I find happiness in eating. I used to come here once or twice a week. Early or no place to park and have to play chair. The waiter and waitress are too busy with their own work. No one to show me to my table or care how long I have to wait for me to have an order. Only, brute force is the way. Dimsum - Not like it used to be. Mostly are overcooked and, be careful if you try those pandan chicken. Some will have extra stick poked inside. New dishes are introduced. But they do not have the quality of their price. just fancy looking food. And this 2 years, food quality has become pale. Pale is although different dimsums are ordered. Everything taste almost the same. Maybe they use the same sauce or my taste bud is bland. But I would still recommend to my friends because of their price. 12 February 2024. Today is the third day of CNY. Not may restaurants are open. So there were many people queuing up to order and pay. There was also no available seats.
