First time here, came here for 2nd breakfast from nearby coffee shop. Nice and cosy premises. An okay selection of pretty-looking viennoiseries with nice deep golden colour and decent price around RM11+ average. Cannot help but noticed the XXL pain au chocolat! There was not much selection of the layered entremets/cakes though and oh my the prices are steep! How to justify RM38 for a thin slice of mousse cake! Which is even more expensive than in the US/Canada! Yes ingredients cost is high obviously but possibly with only a handful of imported ingredients like branded choc and probably fruit puree, other than that just common basic ingredients. The "real" sourdough is RM30+ and the "fake" sourdough is half the price, the latter has added commercial yeast. I would think this info should be made known to the customers so it's not misleading by just reading the tag. Overall a decent cafe, service could be improved with friendlier staff but not a bad place to chill in the afternoon with a cup of coffee and a flaky buttery...

The ambiance is calm, with comfortable seating and soft lighting that creates a wonderful space to unwind or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you step inside.
When it comes to coffee, it shines. Their brews are rich, full of flavor, and crafted with care. Whether you’re a fan of espresso, cappuccino, or a classic black coffee, you won’t be disappointed. The coffee quality is truly the highlight of this place.
However, the menu does fall short in terms of variety. While the coffee is excellent, there aren’t many options when it comes to food or specialty drinks. If you’re looking for a place with an extensive menu or creative choices beyond the basics, you might feel limited here.
Overall, it is a great choice if you’re after a quiet space and a solid cup of coffee, but it could benefit from expanding its offerings to cater to a broader...
Read moreThe americano and almond croissant 🥐 was quite nice although the beans have a bitter taste as though their roast may be quite old. I have also purchased the sourdough bread a few times. I usually make my own sourdough bread but as a visitor to Kuching I was looking to purchase some. I have to say the sourdough is missing a nice open crumb. Open crumb is evidence of ample and robust fermentation, sufficient dough strength, and proper dough handling. This bread is definitely missing the taste of a robust fermentation. It tasted like regular bread. If this could be improved I think the bread could taste a lot better. For the price we paid the bread should be on point. On a side note one time we were given water with our espresso like most cafes but the next time we were charged 50 cents per water which seemed a bit much considering the price we already paid for all our items. We appreciate the nice and clean minimalist environment and the staff has always given us really...
