Huang Shang Huang — Restaurant in Sarawak

Just read their bad review on attitude problem. First visit, only few table of ppl, the food was good. So went back with bigger group of ppl, the restaurant was quite full. However, the lady boss at the counter has the worse attitude I ever seen in this food industry. Enquired why the nestum prawn isn't crispy (as first time it was good), she didn't bother to look at me or even answered me, but kept silent doing other calculation (I thought she was dumb). She answered me back, said "I am checking whether it is dry or wet". She should tell me when I enquired but she kept quiet like a dummy, never say sorry. Will never go back again with such bad attitude when we need to pay.

We came here by accident because we were roaming around looking for food. And we were just so glad we came. It was still CNY and they were bustling busy. We walked in without making any reservation, worrying they may not be able to serve our food on time, they told us the wait is at least 30 mins. We decided to wait for our food as we were just too tired to look for another place. Honestly, the wait doesn't felt like 30 mins. Food tasted amazing, helping is huge and we find the price extremely reasonable. We will definitely eat here again when we are...

Had CNY eve dinner and had the standard 9 course set. Most of the dishes were quite watery, could be due to rush cooking for large groups of people. The few chicken dishes were a bit bland and a bit soggy. The steam broccoli with keropok was lacking in the seasoning department. The steamed seabass had a peculiar taste of been just barely seasoned and rush to be serve. Most dishes were barely eaten. Weren't up to expectations for the price paid for 3 tables.
