A kopitiam that has been around for many years. Their Teh C Ping special is a favourite, but in general the Kopi and other drinks are great too. In my opinion, the laksa is to die for here. No matter how far you travel, it's the memory of laksa (auntie Angela's Laksa), such as this that will, make you want to come/back to Kuching, Sarawak. The nasi lemak is also my all time favourite. You can either order nasi lemak biasa, nasi lemak rendang ayam, daging, or ayam goreng. The meat is tender and succulent. There are also other stalls selling kolok mee and other pork based food, nasi ayam (love this too!), traditional kuih-muih/rice cakes. The economy fast food is on and off. I don't take pork so can't say much about pork based food đ. Overall, the price can be considered as (very) cheap. Best time to come here is early morning for breakfast.
Try the laksa and nasi lemak and let me know whether you like it? Those who eat pork can share their views too. And oh, what about ordering toast and dip it in your laksa gravy. Let me know whether you like itđđŒ. It's...

Alot of choices from the hawker stalls but what intrigued me was the wok station location at the end of the shop - hard to miss as theres a chap fan kaunter behind it.
Ordered the kuew teow and mee tomato and was blown away by its flavour. Reminds me of the good ones in Bau, Kuching - imagine the strong tomato taste with perfectly cooked noodle coupled with not too runny tomato base.
The portion served was also big and they are not stingy with the ingredients they put in.
P/S - noticed that the taste can be inconsistent as its dependent wether they are busy or not during that period. During my 2nd try, the tomato base was not as kaw as during my first visit but it's still good as compared to other...

Local kueh known as "topi kueh" literally known as the hat kueh. It's made from gula melaka, fragrant yet not too sweet. Really enjoyed it. There is also a white color kueh, stuffed with mushrooms and some veggie, reminds me of yam cake but a flavourful version. Very soft and munchy.
This stall has a lot of kueh choices. The seller says you can order ahead to take away by...
