Came here for the first time on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM. There was just one group ahead of us, and the door staff was friendly - he even offered us bottled water while we waited, which was a really thoughtful touch. We were seated in under 10 minutes, so things started off on a good note.
But once we got to our table, things quickly became confusing. There was no menu available, and no one explained how the ordering system worked. We sat around unsure of what to do until a staff member finally came by and told us that dim sum would be brought around on a pushcart. He also mentioned he’d take orders for made-to-order dishes like noodles and help us order chee cheong fun - but that never arrived.
There was a glass cabinet beside us filled with fried items, but everything inside was cold. We later learned they were supposed to reheat them for you, but that never happened either. The entire ordering experience felt disorganized and unclear. We’ve been to many dim sum places both locally and overseas, and this was the first time we weren’t given a simple order sheet and pencil to choose our dishes - even with pushcart service, that’s typically the standard.
And then there’s the chili oil - surprisingly, none was provided! When we asked, the staff seemed unsure and brought out a garlicky chili sauce instead. Only bottled Life-brand chili sauce was available on the table. Cantonese dim sum with no chilli oil is not good!
As for the food - it was okay, but nothing stood out. Most dishes, especially the fried items, were served cold and had lost their crispness. Portions were small for the price, and overall, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. Despite having a lot of staff on the floor, service felt slow and uncoordinated. There was only one large pushcart going around the entire restaurant, which meant long waits between offerings. When it came time to pay, we had to call someone over to count our colour-coded baskets and then head to the counter ourselves to settle the bill. With so many digital ordering tools available now, a few simple changes could really improve efficiency.
The restaurant is probably better known for its main menu items. But when it comes to serving dim sum, there’s definitely room for improvement - both in terms of service and...

This time, a group of enthusiastic Japanese friends came and tried the "Unforgettable" dish for the first time, praising the chef's skill. The texture is smooth and slippery to eat, and they even fried the fish scales to crispy perfection! 🤤Their signature dish here is the "Jumping Prawns," with bright colors. Opening the prawn shells reveals how fresh the meat is, offering a chewy texture that's satisfyingly springy. Dip it in their homemade sauce for even more deliciousness! 🤤 There's also the flavorful "Garlic Lobster" loaded with garlic, without any fishy taste. 😋Friends looking to gather for a meal can come here, where you can even sing karaoke in the...

And I have clearly stated I don’t want fish and he keep on promoting again the fresh fishes. We have ordered a total of 6 dishes and the staff keep saying it’s not enough for ur number of pax, then I said it’s okay, we will add on again. After that, suddenly one female staff come to stand at the side of my table, and I asked “yes?!” Then she said she want to take the plate. THE PLATE IS NOT EMPTY YET, AND MY FAMILY ARE STILL TAKING FOOD FROM THE PLATE! By the time that is not even full house, it was just us and another table...
