Love the Japanese food here! It's the best in Bintulu. The sushi here is very good too, but you need to come at night to be able to have sushi. If you come in the day time, the menu is limited, but there are some set lunch (with soup and coffee/tea). However, the ambience is pretty dark, even in the day time too, and they don't turn on the lights. It's a little difficult to look at the menu and your food sometimes. But you are allowed to smoke in there (yes that means there is smoke smell in there even when nobody is smoking), and at night, you can play darts there too. The 2nd and 3rd visits we were served by a guy (we shall call smiler) he was as sour faced as it was possible to be. If welcoming was meant to be felt by the visitors this guy failed massively. The beer is cold, has tap beers of Tiger and Guinness which wasn't expected to be good. The pool table got quite loud and became irritating and the loud dart machines in the next room managed to be even more annoying. Plenty of food served and the waitresses kept smiler on his toes. Western style foods, local dishes and sushi is a must to sample if you are staying locally. Our group never eat at the hotel and make the pilgrimage to the Ezy most days!
