Extremely Disappointing Experience at Ikhwan Seafood Restaurant.
I recently visited Ikhwan Seafood Restaurant and was profoundly disappointed with the service and overall experience. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty with just three families present, we had to wait an exorbitant 2 hours and 30 minutes for our food. The lack of staff attention was astounding; we received no assistance with our order and had to go to the cashier ourselves to get paper, pen, and a menu for what felt like a self-service ordeal.
Furthermore, the ambiance was far from pleasant. The view of the river, which could have been a redeeming feature, was marred by the low tide, exposing a dirty and unappealing riverscape. This not only detracted from the dining experience but also left us questioning the overall hygiene and upkeep of the place.

Read moreThe only nice thing about this restaurant is its quite clean and well arranged. The food really doesnt suit my taste bud. It doesnt really taste like usual Thai Restaurant that i used to go.
The tomyum is too herby and somewhat smells like traditional medicine mixed with Asam Pedas smell. It doesnt taste light as in Thai restaurant do taste like. It should be light, red spicy, sour and lil sweet from seafood.
The siakap 3rasa also doesnt taste as good as in thai restaurant. It taste like Masam Manis style with more towards the sweeter side and theres too much garlic in the sauce which I doesnt prefer it. It should taste spicy, sour and sweet.
Personally, If you dont have picky taste bud, this restaurant is okay. For me, this might me the last time. Its not that good but its not that bad. Plus, the otak2 and satar...

Tried almost all the seafoods. Some dishes was missing but was still in the menu. Was alright. I mean still edible. Crab was undercooked. Fish was good. Shellfish...not fan. Noodles..noodles? In seafood restaurant? Welcome to malaysia. These seafood dishes are meant to be eaten with rice. Definitely not cheap but not over priced. Service is good. I may revisit but only if I'm bored and not raining. This spot wasn't easy to find. The path was terrible. A...
