I have been a frequent returning customer of this particular branch ever since it opened. I could tell the quality of the restaurant dropped further and further without any real action being taken.
Today’s experience was the cherry on top as I had waited an hour for my food to arrive. Granted it was packed on a weekend and during peak hours, so it was expected and understandable for the food to take a while to be served.
What was shocking was our food came and the chicken was undercooked! We asked them to refry the chicken, which one was but the other one was simply swapped out with a different, OLD chicken. I really did not want to leave this review but there was no manager around to talk to.
Please, train your cook better time management and proper cooking skills. I will still return here because I love the food, but we will see if there’s going to be any improvement done.
And please fix your broken tiles, improve the toilet cleanliness and service the AC. Such a shame muslim staffs work here but the place isn’t up...

Every order involves waiting excessively long and have to wait over an hour just to get my food. I thought dining in might be faster, but I was wrong. I had to queue for 30 minutes just to place my order because the cashier was busy checking something on a tablet. After 10 minutes, only then did another staff member say, ‘Settlekan customer dulu.’ If that was the priority, why delay in the first place?
This isn’t the first time I’ve had a frustrating experience at this branch. I’ve been to many Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus outlets across Klang Valley and none of them are like this. Read morerecently visited Pak Gembus Rawang and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience due to the customer service, which fell significantly short of expectations. Particularly, the service from one of the staff members (a young lady) was notably poor, marked by a lack of attentiveness and courtesy that one would expect in a hospitality setting. While I understand that new staff members are still learning and adjusting, the overall interaction left a lot to be desired. It's disheartening to share this feedback as I had hoped for a more welcoming experience. I believe in the potential of Pak Gembus and hope this review serves as constructive criticism for improving customer service moving forward.
